Headline from The Daily Mail that hails a touching story about a "wonder dog" that saved a 4 month old baby Kangaroo, after its mother had been killed. Incredible story with incredible pictures!!

Animals understand a whole lot more than we give them credit for and this is another example.

One of our dogs stood over a bird that was stunned from flying into our patio door until we could get to it and even more surprisingly, one of our cats did the same on another occasion.

Yes I believe also that pet's are very smart.I have a very small Chihuahua and a Cat and a Parrot. Our cat likes to get on top of the Parrot's cage only to make our Chihuahua up-set. As soon as he get's off the cage Scooter (chihuahua) runs after him and holds him down and then will bark at him twice. Then the parrot will start yelling shut-up..shut-up..Cause he is always hearing me tell Scooter to shut-up when he starts his barking..Scooter knows that the cat is not suppose to be on top of the parrot's cage.When our home burned down in 2004 at 3 in the morning..it was our dog that woke me and then I woke my husband and son..We got out just in time. We lost everything.
