Rabies Vaccination Clinics

Posted Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 8:10 AM

Michael Gregory from Bedford County Animal Control asked me to remind everyone about the upcoming rabies clinics. This Saturday is the first of two, scheduled for Bedford County. This week's schedule includes:

Flat Creek (Church of Christ) 8-9:30

Cascade Vet 10-11:30

Wheel Meth. Church 8-9:30

Southside School 10-11:30

Eastside Elementary 8-9:30

Cost is $7 per animal, and it is requested that you bring correct change. Make sure to get out and get your pet vaccinated and save a little money at the same time!

Are you aware of any place where a person might get a break on spaying/neutering? I read your info about the organization in Murfreesboro, but feel I probably would not qualify because of income. My situation is this - at the office where I work, we have lots of cats running around. We all feed them, but my boss and his wife actually do much more of this than I do. I have adopted one of the strays and she has adopted two and we would like to get them spayed/neutered. She has also stated that she would like to get some of these wild kitties fixed also, but we would have to trap them to do it, which we are willing to try. The problem is, we have 6 or 7, sometimes more running around here and it would be more than we could afford to pay for all this spaying/neutering. Any information you have would be welcome.

the beesly clinic is not income based. we make decent money but have 3 kids so the 125 + it costs round here is not to great we have had 3 pets fixed there and love it!! i think but dont quote me that a cat male is only 25 and female 35

We took one of our dogs to Beesly and I really liked them.
