The little boy is Socks and he is about 8 weeks old he loves to be held and sit on your shoulder. He makes big purrs. He has a wonderful purr motor! These these sweeties need a forever home of their own ASAP! Our adoption process is very easy!! The fee for adopting an animal is $65 that includes a $50 refund after the animal is spayed or neutered. Our facility contains an Adoption Room that will allow you and your family to spend quality time to ensure the right pet for you! All animals must leave with a current Rabies Vaccination. The current cost for this is $13.
Come Visit Us! The shelter is now staffed during the day for viewing of animals and for dropping off animals. Give us a call to schedule a time to come in. 205 Lane Parkway Shelbyville, TN 37160 Phone: 931-685-1130 FAX: 931-685-1227 Email: Michael Gregory Brenda Goodrich Visit our new Website at: http://www.bedfordtnanimalcontrol.org/ Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Cheryl,
What was the website that had the affordable services for the spaying and neutering, I believe it was in Mboro?

Thanks a ton, Need to get 2 dogs done.
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that Sasha was adopted. Yeah!!! Sofia now needs a home she is so sweet.
If anyone needs brochures for the beesley foundation please stop by BCAC and pick one up, or maybe two to share with a neighbor.
The Rainbow Bridge poem made me think of the animals and people who never find their soulmates here.
We can't help all of the lonelies but we can do the best we can to make matches and try to ease things for the rest.
Sometimes,in the meadow,a beast stands alone.
In life,it lacked a friend of its own.
It never had toys or shelter or such.
Food never was great and there seldom was much.
It was one constant struggle to be born and survive but that's what it did - while it still was alive.
Then one day the pain ended,it was able to rest and wake to the pleasures that creatures love best.
There was no more hunger or thirst or disease,
too much heat or cold or worms, ticks or fleas.
No one there to hurt it or curse it or forget it was there.
Just those who have enough wisdom to care
For the world treats the Greatest the same as the least.
It gives the same love to its Maker as it does man and beast.
Let those of us here show others our love so they'll know something of Heaven both here and above.
~quantumcat: Would you mind if I posted the above to my personal blog? It's just beautiful!
Thank you.
