Well, we've had the kittens a week today. I just can't believe how much they've grown!! The boy, Gordon Ramsay, is a pig. He's by far the biggest and loudest of the three. Shingo is still playing "mama" to them. He bathes them, protects them, and herds them. This morning, one of the girls climbed out of the box, and he herded her back and let us know. He was satisfied once we put her back in the box. He's attentive. I have to give him that. All three have opened their eyes over the last two days. Ramsay was the first. Here are some new pictures of their progress.

Indiana loves them too...

Shingo decides they need to be re-bathed after Indiana did an insufficient job.

Isn't it great to have pets that make good surrogates. I have raised 2 orphaned kittens at different times and my dog Flora has been the best mother. If she could have nursed them she would have. God Bless her for taking over some of the yucky tasks that needed doing! She is a rescued Jack Russell Terrier. The second kitten is going to be a part of our family. Having been raised since 2 weeks old with 2 dogs I often wonder when she will bark:) !

I love the pictures. Reminds me of when I had my four little orphan kittens at once. I could not even find a bottle to feed them with at the time, had to use a regular infant bottle and enlarge the hole in the nipple. Two of mine were both orange/red and I had to feed them one after the other or I didn't know which one I had feed. Keep up the wonderful work!

Those babies are so sweet! I pray they all find good homes.

hi thought i'd share a website with a fantastic video about a shelter story and the importance of spaying and neutering. It is sad, but it is needed.
