I would be he was a good companion for someone who has moved into a retirement home or the final reward, but he sure does not deserve abandonment, which is what I presume happened.

We adopted an older dog (we call her Sophie) and she has turned out to be a true pleasure. She is very intelligent, well behaved and LOVES to travel with us to town or anyplace we will take her.

If you don't find his original person, I sure hope someone can fit him into their family.

I am happy to report that this dog went home today with a nice couple.
