FYI: The date is supposed to be 2009

From Poo Boy's owner:

As of last night Poo Boy has come up missing from the area behind the Square - Across from Bocelli's. We had just gotten home and he went to "do his Thing" and I ran inside to use the bathroom (only inside 3-4 minutes). He always just walks around the area but with the "PARK AREA" that is now created across from Bocelli's someone may have seen him in the grass area and thought he was a lost dog OR they may have just taken him. His tags have my phone number and the store Name and Address so I am hopeful someone will bring him in today. PLEASE PUT THE WORD OUT - Don't know how I will be able to work without him guarding the front door & greeting my customers. PLEASE call if you know anything 685-0055 This is the store number but it is forwarded to my cell phone.

He is a cutie, I hope you find him. Make sure you check with the Animal control to see if anyone has turned him in. We have been having trouble with stray dogs around that area, a little boy was bitten in the head by a black dog with fuzzy hair and white under the neck area, they said they have been trying to catch that dog for some time, and are not successful at it. Traps have been set to catch this dog, and they have been catching some but not the one they are looking for. Check and make sure they do not have yours. Good Luck in finding him.

A chipped animal runs some health risks but it's more apt to find its way home.

Vets, shelters and labs can obtain the pet's contact information and, sometimes, even their medical information.

Breeders can have their names on the chip as well as the pet's new family's if the pet (or its humans) are ever hurt, killed, taken into custody or lost.

That can come in handy in criminal cases, natural disasters or other events where it is necessary to find a responsible party for an animal.

Pooh is far more likely to make a safe return than the many anonymous animals who have no proof of neutering, vaccination records, ownership, etc.

Let's hope he shows up safe very soon.

(He's in our prayers.)
