TouchingPosted Friday, October 9, 2009, at 9:31 AM
This video has been making the rounds on several sites. I've been trying to avoid watching it for days, because I knew I'd be a blubbering mess. I finally got the courage up to watch it this morning. It is truly beautiful and touching. It's just amazing what dogs can do for us.

This brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing it.
GREAT STORY!!
oh he is so sweet.. a elderly dog helping the elderly.. how awesome is that?
Thanks for sharing that Cheryl. Now a lot of people can discover what we have known for years.
This video is bitter-sweet for me.
The part that bothers me, is that Baxter is sooooooo old, and seems to be paralized. The poor dog can barely hold his head up. Even though I'm sure he is not "suffering" due to the great care he seemed to be in, and probably pain medication, but truely he cannot "be" a dog. He is a giant, almost lifeless, teady bear.
On the other hand....
That is a really touching video, and kudos to Baxter and his owner for helping people in their final days. He is also a really beautiful dog!
