I will give Tennessee this much, when they serve postgame pizza to the media, it's at least hot and fresh instead of tasting like something the faithful in the skybox didn't finish off.

That's about the only phase where the Volunteers are better than Florida at this point.

As they proudly display on the jumbotron throughout their games, "The only thing that gets out of 'The Swamp' alive is a Gator." After Saturday's 59-20 beating Tennessee took, that commercial carried its weight and more on the gridiron. You could see it in Smokey's eyes. There just wasn't anything worth wagging your tail at.

This wasn't one of those "It's not as bad as it looks," beatings either. The defending national champions appeared to have their rings on when the punched the Vols in the mouth.

Goose eggs in aspects of the games Tennessee typically prides themselves on tell the tale. Zero first downs rushing. Zero rushing touchdowns. Zero sacks. Zero punt return yards. Zero touchbacks.

Now guess how many times the Vols have beaten Florida since Urban Meyer took over?

Zero.

Therein lies the problem volfanatic-they do not have any playmakers beyond Ainge and Eric Berry. Coker could be but he appears to be more interested in outside influences than in football. You are right though. The program is stuck in reverse and no one seems to be able to stop it. Time for a change!

Fulmer and staff need to start getting the best offensive linemen in the country. You can look at their last two classes, and tell they have not brought in a big time Offensive Lineman. I know the Munoz kid was going to be the next great one since slice bread, a string of bad luck and injuries never allowed him to fully live up to the billing. I understand the importance of getting "skilled players" yet the un-sung heros have got to be the ones that lead your team and that is the offensive line. In passing how does Tennessee let and NFL type kid like King Dunlap, Named to Outland Trophy preseason watch list for 2007,(Brentwood Academy now at Auburn) leave the state? I leave you with these words:" Games are Won or Lossed in the Trenches" I think that held true last Saturday in the Swamp. Just a simple observation of things on "the hill"

Time for Fulmer and his staff to move on. Enough is enough. Yes, he won a national title and a couple of SEC championships, but the program appears to be going in reverse. Most teams put their playmakers on the field even if their freshman. Fulmer keeps his on the bench until they can learn the entire outdated playbook.

hahahaha..How about them Vols? I have seen youth football leagues that play better than that.

Yeah, I love the Vols but that was beyond atrocious!!!
