Don't doubt the VolsPosted Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 4:36 PM
KNOXILLE -- "Don't ever doubt the heart of a Volunteer." Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said he wasn't being defiant after his Volunteers handled Arkansas 34-13 on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. His mood definitely suggested otherwise. Who could blame him? Despite being in the driver's seat in the SEC East, critic after critic picked the red hot Razorbacks to walk out of Rocky Top with a victory. All that stand in the Vols' way of a trip to Atlanta for the SEC championship are Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Who would have guessed they would still have a chance at a ring come November after starting the season 1-2? Not me. Guess I doubted the heart of the Volunteers too. I am glad to see they seem to finally be in a GOOD zone.. I hope they keep the momentum going!
They definitely played a great game. That, plus the advertisement taken out in support of Fulmer should remind us that winning is NOT everything.
He is apparently an inspiring and caring coach. If we put winning above all else and replace him, the players would be missing out on a great mentor.
Hey Danny,
What camera do you use to get the sports action shots. I would get a Nikon D-80 or above, but would like to see your comments on it compared to something else.
I use the Canon 30D body to shoot everything. I have a number of lenses I go through.
