We're talkin' south'rnPosted Monday, October 8, 2007, at 8:56 AM
One of the great things about the South is how so many of us are talkin' south'rn.
Some of us drink "co-cola" -- even if it's another brand besides Coca-Cola. Not "pop," like Northerners consume. (Can't leave out Sundrop. Try and buy THAT elsewhere...)
Older people keep things cool in the 'Frigidaire' no matter what brand of refrigerator they actually own.
One of my grandmothers swore on the curative qualities of "Vicks sive", referring to Vicks Vapor-Rub (the "sive" was how she said "salve.")
And many of us live in "Shovel."
Y'all throw in some of your best south'rnisms here...
