  • Bless you, David. My time in Shelbyville - and particularly at the T-G were the best of my life. I had expected to have a full day to visit many people, but as you know, I was riding with someone so that didn't work out. If it were at all feasible, I'd sell everything I can't take in my car and move back to the town that really is the only true home I've ever known.

I will be back to visit - and keep up with 'my town' via the website every day.

    Love you all,

  • I wanted to give my own shout out to Ann and agree with every thing David said about her. Ann is a gifted writer and an inspiration. I was privileged to get to know her when we both worked for Dabora, she on Saddle Horse Report and I on Walking Horse Report. Ann, if you read this, I hope you are happy and healthy and enjoying life. I will never forget visiting that Arabian farm with you in Baton Rouge and having coffee and beignets. Next time you visit Shelbyville, hope you'll look me up!
