Christmas displays worth seeing

Sometime over the long holiday weekend, quite a few of us will be looking at Christmas lights.

A few locations each year seem to stand out in addition to displays at H.V. Griffin Park and Celebration Drive. (And quite a few of us remember the displays at Dr. Carl Rogers' home on Skyview Terrace in past years.)

The display on U.S. 231 North just past Deason has become a tradition, as have a couple of homes on Fairfield Pike in Shelbyville, one at the Lee Lane intersection and the other at the Chestnut Drive intersection (at the hill with the flashing caution light).

I've also seen a home on Troupe Road which really stands out.

I'm sure there are other flashy displays across Bedford County and in Shelbyville that I haven't seen.

Where are some others worth a look?

101 Amanda Drive has a wonderful display. For all of you veteran t-g readers, that's where Bucky the Famous Reindeer who was stolen last year resides.
