  • My favorite time is right before a storm when there is a cool breeze and everything seems still and calm right before the lightening and thunder take over.

  • This time of year is my favorite time of year. The weather is perfect and the colors are beautiful. I love to go driving in the country in the afternoons and just feel the breeze and see the colors. I love sitting on a porch swing. This time of year is perfect for camping. I love going camping. I'm hoping to go before it gets too cold. I really like this blog. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You paint a wonderful mental image of the perfect evening in the fall.

  • I love the hot humid days of summer..it really does not get to hot for me.

Fall is kinda depressing to me with everything dying and knowing that winter is just around the corner. ;>(

  • Fall is a GREAT time of year but I too do not look forward to winter and short daylight.

However, I also have fond memories of winter nights with heavy snowfall and QUIET peacefulness. My parents got upset when they would find out,(because of the heat bill) but I used to like to open my window on a cold night and feel the cold air across my face as I fell asleep under nice warm covers.

  • I love Fall and Winter. I love the wee hours of the mornings, it is peaceful and quiet. I call it my "Me Time".

  • David,

What a refreshing blog and just what is needed in the world we live in today. I miss Tennessee and the beautiful leaves that are changing right about now. In Plano, Tx., we don't see the fall colors that you have and I get a little homesick about this time of year.

We all just need to take time out from our busy lives and reflect on the beauty of this world and thank God for what has been given us.

  • I love spring and fall when I can get out and work in the yard.
