These were on display at Bedford County Republican Headquarters on election night.
Look above at the sheets which were on a table in Bedford County Republican Headquarters on election night. I'll defend anyone's right to freedom of speech, while not necessarily agreeing with what they're saying. As in the case of what's in the above photo. During my time there as part of election night coverage, I didn't see anyone actually looking at these. Maybe no one wanted to be associated with them. I'm not implying that everyone -- or even the majority -- of the people in the building agreed with the contents of these pages, which were printed off someone's web site. They look like Internet banner ads, or maybe bumper stickers. And I guess some of them are meant as sarcastic humor. I realize tough talk is normal during national election campaigns. But comparasions between President-elect Obama and Osama bin Laden, and some of the other thoughts expressed, are going entirely too far. What do YOU think these imply? I dont see a problem with it. The left has done nothing but bash both McCain, and quiet possibly has ruined the career of Sarah Palin. Look at the damage to Joe the Plumber just for asking a question. The multitude of shirts saying things like "Sarah is a c#n%" they also hanged her in effigy. The abuse given to them goes on and on. I dont believe a few "bumper stickers" are to much to get upset about. The very bottom one is a direct quote from Michelle Obama, "dont trust Obama" and "be afraid, be very afraid" are things the McCain campaign should have been saying all along. Most of those are like you said sarcastic humor.
There were slanderous and vile statements all over the web from BOTH sides. Why are you giving them more exposure?
Since we now have a President by an overwhelming majority, let's spend out time and efforts on making this new leadership successful for America.
I see nothing wrong with them either they are no worse than some I have seen about Palin.
Just so you know, the Obama rally where 250 Bedford Countians were at Tuesday night, had absolutely NOTHING negative about McCain or any of the Republican candidates...
Go figure. I guess we had reason to celebrate and they chose to wallow in their self pity.

This is what the McCain aides think of Palin now... Need we remind them, THEY PICKED HER... How shameful that they used her and now blame her for their own missteps.
The Mccain aides are basically admitting that they knew Palin was terrible choice within a few days of picking her, yet they spent the next two months trying to fool everybody into believing she was qualified. They are only making themselves look bad.
Anyone who doesn't realize by now that the liberally biased media has both coddled and supported Mr. Obama has had their head in the sand for about 18 months now. Why was there not an accompanying photo of the callous and thoughtless slogans regarding McCain/Palin?
Because at the Democratic headquarters in Shelbyville and at the Obama rally Tuesday night, there was no such memorabilia there. It would have to be there to get a picture. This was taken at the local Republican headquarters, not nationally.

The Democrats took the high road, they didn't need to lie. Surprising eh? Now go cry and whine.
I am glad to hear that the Democratic Party took the high road here in Bedford County during their rally and election night party . . . that is the Democratic Party I use to support. Unfortunately that has not been represented in this forum or campaigns many times . . . there are several Democratic supporters in here who have been very negative and hateful and attacked people in negative ways. Those people know who they are and have no room to talk about anyone . . . when you sling mud, it doesn't matter if you are a donkey or an elephant, you are still just as dirty.
I must have missed the democrats halo when I was being called a racist and that I was promoting fear and hate.
Evil Monkey, do you mean they actually found the high road? Wow, will wonders never cease? I have heard nothing but guttersniping from them and their toadies (the media) for over 3 years. And now its starting all over again. CNN is trying to push Mitt Romney to run as republican president. Just as McCain was selected! He was a media darling til he got nominated. then the hobnail boots and iron fists came out.Just dont try to make me believe the DNC is pure of heart in this. I ain't buying it.
McCain messed his own campaign up when he picked a running mate who didn't even know a single Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade, or didn't even know what newspaper in ALASKA she read for her news.... THAT is when the media began to point out the obvious fact that he had horrible judgment and he picked a lady as an ends to justify a means rather than any particular skill.

The real difference was in Obamas ability to mesmerize eager followers to the point they could not see he was even more un-qualified to be Pesident as Palin was to be vice president.
The news media could present two exactly similar issues such as Palin thinking Africa was a country instead of a continent and Obama thinking there were 57 States in the U.S. and the public would see two different things.
I guess the only thing you can say is Palin is a beautiful woman that does not have the charismatic mesmerizing spell binding power that an annointed Obama has over his easily influencable followers.

Just because you got mesmerized by Obama and lost your good sense does make you a sore loser in my mind. Don't feel bad Vindicated because 52% of your fellow Americans had it done to them also.
