Healthy eatingPosted Friday, April 24, 2009, at 10:30 AM
My breakfast-at-work today consisted of 24 Frosted Mini-Wheats nuggets (yes, I count them for calories' sake, it's great finger food), two thumb-sized mini Baby Ruth bars and a Hershey's Kiss.
I'm obviously not a poster guy for good eating. Problem is, I don't like fruit. Never have. And I don't have time to eat a real breakfast Tuesdays through Fridays unless I get up at 5 a.m. or earlier, which would be too much considering I'm not really a "morning person." Yet by consuming the junk food in moderation and walking or running a mile or more most days, I manage to stay slim Here are some thoughts about maintaining or losing weight, as seen on a TV newscast courtesy of msn.com. And about the Mini-Wheats: The Maple & Brown Sugar flavor tastes great, and there are only 12 calories in the entire box. No, I don't eat the whole box at one time.
