  • It is very hard to believe that after 7 years, people are still commenting on a 13 word statement made by Natalie Maines especially, with the amount of negative comments that have been made since then... As for the ice dancing couple of Samuelson/Bates choosing the great music of the Dixe Chicks, I say fantastic choice!!

  • I wonder if the people still hanging on the comment against Bush by the Dixi chick, will be so up tight about people who are bad mouthing the current president? If not may I use the word "hypocrites" to address them? I doubt there are more than a couple people who would have ever even thought about that incident, from so many years ago, I would tend to think that people are more interested in the dance the couple did and the olympics, unless they are just wanting drama at any and all levels.

  • I don't think that people cared that they said anything, they went to another country and badmouthed our president. In my opinion Natalie M can go...I really am rooting for a good showing in hockey and I love the alpine skiing.

  • I didn't listen to the Dixie Chicks before the controversy and I don't listen to them now. I don't think anyone has made much of an issue about the fact the song was used except in this blog. I didn't hear anyone on NBC say anything about it. So your rant wonderwhy, is much a do about nothing. Seems the one stirring the caldron here is Mr. Melson.
