Smart enough to work for Uncle Sam?Posted Friday, March 12, 2010, at 3:26 PM
Do you think well enough to work for the government?
Try your skills on the 2010 Census Exam www.2010census.biz/2010censusjobs/docume... and find out. A passing grade is 10 out of the 28 questions, which means that if schools graded like the government a lot more people would have high school diplomas. In their defense, higher scores meant a better chance of being selected as a census worker. The time limit for the actual test is 30 minutes. So far I haven't found time to take the test myself. But some of the questions looked easy; others may require some deeper thinking. NOTE: The first two reader comments refer to a botched (on my part) attempt to post the census web address. Should be fixed now, even if I had make the ugly old URL visible. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I had to go look David, but the link comes back to this blog. Is that the test?
OK I failed, the test came back to this blog, I tried three times before I gave up...The government expects you to give up after one try.
Works now.
Ok I missed 7, but I may have taken a wee bit longer then 30 mins.
I missed 0 and took 20 minutes. Maybe I should be a census worker haha!
