Conquer, dominate, and never agreePosted Friday, April 9, 2010, at 1:57 PM
Newt GIngrich, speaking to the Southern Republican Leadership Conference on Thursday night:
"When we win control" (think so, Newt?) "of the House and Senate this fall, Stage One of the end of Obamaism will be a new Republican Congress in January that simply refuses to fund any of the radical efforts.
"We (will) be prepared to commit that a Republican President and a Republican Congress in February and March of 2013 will repeal every radical bill passed by this machine."
So if Newt Gingrich gets what he wants, then apparently we simply exchange one "machine" for another.
Usual GOP talk: The folks who proclaim Democrats promote "socialism" and "communism" sound as if they'd be just as happy as their own dictatorship -- an "our way is the only way" attitude. Yep, I know some Democrats on the other side are just as bad.
Two political parties and a gap as wide as the Mississippi River. Think there's any chance for cohesiveness in America anymore?
