This photo actually has no relation to the text below, but it so totally reflects Bedford County. All we know about it is that it appears to be members of a baseball team meeting horses on a farm. This was shot by the T-G sometime in the 1970s and was among several photos stuffed within an old newspaper we found in the office.

This new website allows users to post old photos matched to today's Google street views. Photo posters manipulate the old photo over the street view and What Was There does the rest; viewers can watch the old photos fade into the new ones and vice versa.
I've added a couple to the site already and so did detective Pat Mathis of the police department. I'm planning to add any street views I've posted to this blog and any others I run across.
