Unusual sunset over Shelbyville

Posted Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 10:13 AM

The sun sets over Shelbyville late Tuesday afternoon. (T-G Photo by David Melson)
The sun shone, sort of, around sunset Tuesday as rain moved out for a few minutes. The glow was unusual, complete with a rainbow to the east. Here's a look at the sun setting over the old depot in Shelbyville.

That is certainly a golden sunset With all the clouds in the area, not a one here. You were truly at the right spot at the right time.

It was indeed beautiful. I took about a dozen pics, but missed the rainbow.
