  • David, I have enjoyed looking at this picture. While I didn't recognize anyone, it was nice to click on your larger view. Even better to use the trick I learned from redddj on Bo's blog recently -- when the link is open click on Ctrl and then the plus sign to enlarge. Ctrl minus sign will decrease the size. Thanks redddj Love the flag flying from a fishing pole!

  • My mother , Mary Lucille Pyrdum Tate, is sitting front row center in black blouse, My grandmother, Daisy Jones Pyrdum, is in the first standing row behind my mother 5 places to the right, and my aunt, Margaret Pyrdum Gardner, is in the same standing row 3 places to the left of my mother in the black dress. According to my mother, who is now age 90, this is a Fly Manufacturing picnic in 1941.

  • There is a man standing in the last row in front of the man holding the flag that looks like Freeman Fly.

  • I agree cookie. That does look like Freeman Fly, but I would have never guessed it if challenger had not identified the picture as Fly's picnic.
