  • I was not born until 1961 but, the first car I remember owning was a 68' Pontiac Le mans with a vinyl top, I loved that car, it had a big engine, and for a teenage boy, it was perfect. Boy, was dad smart, back then he knew I would bang it up, and sure enough I did a few times. I am not much of a car expert by any means, and riding in the older cars, when I get a chance, I seem to enjoy, As age goes on, I seem to lean more towards luxury, What I would love to have to play with, would be an older EARLY 80s' Rally Sport or GTO, but for everyday use, I am definably a big truck fan. the new Dodge Ram rated well the other day on the news, for luxury, but I have been hooked on a GMC for so many years, I'd have to drive one before I'm convinced. That old used Pontiac back then was about $600.00, so I guess a new GMC 2500, fully loaded with a king cab will be another life time, it was $48,000. Maybe I will win the lottery and get lucky, never hurts to dream.
