  • Interesting story about those candy hearts with words. The original company went bankrupt but another company bought the equipment and moved it to their location. Thus the "absence for a year+.

The new ones coming out have a glitch though. Not that they say irrelevant words, but many don't have ANY words. Guess they have to fine tune the equipment.

We have tried to stop bringing candy into the house since I eventually give in and EAT it, especially chocolate. Best way to avoid it is not to bring it to close proximity in the first place.

We did however make an exception with chocolate covered strawberries. Strawberries are healthy, right?

  • After a weekend of sugar-laden snacks, I vote for dark chocolate strawberries, for sure, which can be high in antioxidants and vitamin C. As for the berries being healthy, they must be washed well to remove any possible pesticides. I recommend organic when possible. There is a great difference in taste. Thanks for responding Steve.
