As many of you may know by now Vanderbilt scored an upset over the number one-seeded LSU Tigers 4-1 Wednesday night in the opening round of the tournament. Former Shelbyville Central star Jonathan White played an instrumental role in the victory with two hits, including a double off of the left field wall that just missed by inches being a homer, a walk and a run scored out of the two hole in the Commodore lineup. J. White always seems to save his best for last. Let's hope that it is enough to get his young team into the next round. Vanderbilt squares off against South Carolina at 8:30pm Thursday night. The Gamecocks swept the regular season series at their place so the Commodores have their work cut out for them. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Jonathan again made the difference in the win against South Carolina last night!
GO VANDY!
J. White is playing his best ball of his career and that's great to see, especially at this time of year when his career is winding down. Keep it going Jonathan and go get 'em Vandy!
