AJ Johnson will bring much needed speed to the Vol linebacking corp.

Signed so far are DeAnthony Arnett, a wide receiver out of Michigan who also had offers from Michigan State, USC, Michigan, California, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Marcus Jackson, an OG signed after considering offers from the Miami (FL) Hurricanes, Florida State Seminoles, Florida Gators, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and Michigan State Spartans. Antonio Richardson, an OT from Pearl-Cohn in Nashville and the top rated prospect in Tennessee by Rivals.Com, signed despite offers from Georgia and the Auburn Tigers. Inside linebacker AJ Johnson joins the team from Gainsville, Ga. He had offers from Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Auburn, and USC. Marlin Lane, a runningback, signed after considering Clemson, Miami (FL), Florida State, Auburn Tigers, and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Patrick Martin is a safety from So. Carolina. He signed, after mulling offers from South Carolina, UCLA, LSU, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame. They picked up some more offensive line help with the signing of Alan Posey, a 6'5 310lb tackle out of Athens, Ga. He had offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Cincinnati, and the LSU Tigers. And finally, 4 star player Curt Maggit, a linebacker with tremendous potential that just may be the best prospect in the class. He was ranked as the 3rd best linebacker prospect in the nation by most services. Tennessee's recruiting class is currently ranked as the 12th best in the nation by Rivals.com. I do believe that about two years from now UT is going to have the proverbial "monster" team that other college teams will fear to play. Saturdays are gonna be real exciting, starting with this season. Now, just who is this "Lane Kiffen?"
