Charles County, Md.

Posted Monday, August 6, 2007, at 9:23 AM

Someone from Charles County, Maryland, left a comment on our poll last week about school closings, and it caught the eye of Byrd Raby of Normandy, who also comes from Charles County. (In fact, Raby used to work at the fair which the poll commenter had mentioned.)

You must register with the T-G web site to leave a comment on a story or blog, but not to leave a comment on the poll, so I had no way of tracking down our commenter. Raby would like to meet his fellow Marylander! If you're the one who left that comment on the poll, please call him at 857-4031.

I need the area code or an email address. Mr. Raby - you know my mother and my late grandmother and grandfather.

It's a local (Normandy) number, so the area code would be 931.

Puppydinks:

Give me a call (931/857-4031) I would like to talk to you about what brought you to this area?

Mr. Raby - if possible, please give me an email address. If you don't want to, I'll try to give you a call sometime this week.

BTW, my maiden name was LaFontaine (you went to Lackey with my mother). My grandparents were John and Elizabeth Wall (I believe you bought some property from them many years ago). My grandmother's sister was Francis Lund.

I sure you know pretty much now who I am!!
