Well, I'll be tagging along with the First United Methodist Church youth this Friday as we go to another Faith Night game with the Nashville Sounds. It should be another fun evening -- although I'm hoping we get home sooner than we did in June, when our church bus broke down on Interstate 24 and we didn't make it home until the wee hours of the morning!

The Faith Night concert is "Michael W. Smith's Rocketown Night" -- Smith will be hosting the concert, although I'm not clear whether he himself will actually be performing, as they announced in church on Sunday.

There will also be fireworks after the game, and the Sounds have some nice fireworks shows. I missed seeing any Fourth of July fireworks shows, not only because of the cancellation of the big show here but because I was in Bolivia at the time. So this will be my fireworks fix for the summer ....
