Bloggers add balancePosted Saturday, September 8, 2007, at 3:21 PM
The Knoxville News-Sentinel is doing something unsual, and, I believe, praiseworthy.
The News-Sentinel is involved in a Sunshine Law lawsuit against the Knox County Commission. Naturally, it's problematic for the newspaper to cover a court case to which it is a party -- and even if the reporter assigned to the story does a great job, readers will still be skeptical. So one of the things the newspaper will do is to invite three established bloggers to critique its coverage. It's a terrific idea that helps keep the newspaper honest while the newspaper is trying to keep the county commission honest. Hat tip: Music City Bloggers. Awww c'mon jax...John's a pretty good ole boy...when he's asleep :0-
I cringe when John Carney replies to my comments . . LOL!
That is extremely true... And it's very enlightening to know there are more people who support things that are "out of the norm" for places like Bedford Co. besides me!
Actually, hate to be the bearer of good tidings. These are some of the most civil blog comments ever. Normally they are alot worse in other places on the net. At least here, you can have an opinion and not get cursed out.
Haha, I know I do.
Yes that is a great idea.
But Honestly, Mr Carney do you cringe just a little everytime you open the blogs in the t-g to read the latest comments? lol
