I doubt this will be seen by the person who needs to see it, but I'll pass it along anyway.
Someone left an anonymous e-mail-to-the-editor from my recent opinion column about SSA wanting to know why the comments had been removed. They're confusing that column with one of our news stories. Our web page design allows comments on news stories, and on blog postings, but not on opinion columns -- so there were never any comments on that column to begin with, and therefore nothing to remove. The comments which our anonymous friend is missing were probably on one of the news stories about SSA, and if that's the case they're still there. We haven't deleted or moved anything. Mr. Carney,
I apologize, there was no intention of being anonymous and I was unaware comments could only be left on news stories, however, I did find the comments I was searching for. Thanks, for the clarification. If anyone is interested in the school uniform issue and you would like to read a different opinion of how the school uniform policy is working in Metro Nashville Schools go to the 10/10/07 article titled "Metro personnel laud new school attire."
