The Times-Gazette hosted a dinner for our community (and staff) bloggers tonight at Legends. It was a lovely evening, and fun to get the chance to chat with various bloggers (and their spouses). We'll have a group photo in tomorrow's paper, but here are some of my shots taken with my personal point-and-shoot: Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I had a very good time.
Thanks to everyone at the T-G for your hospitality and interest in our blogs.
Sorry I couldn't make it folks. One of the hazards of working in Franklin, I suppose. Maybe next time I can make it there on time.
Talent was overflowing in that room tonight...
It was good to actually meet the people behind the words; I'd met many of the non-staff bloggers but not all.
Our blogs have come a long way in a relatively short time. I feel privileged to be part of the effort.
It's always a good idea to meet others with whom you work - even though blogging is not actually working. Some of you I recognized from those little thumbprint pictures. John Carney was the only person in the room I had actually met before tonight, even though it seemed that I knew some of you from your blogs.
Thanks, T-G, for a great evening of fellowship & good food.
yum beer.... Is that a Samuel Adams?
I think the bottles on the table are all steak sauce or barbecue sauce.
We had a wonderful time at the get together. I just wish that I had gotten to really talk with more of you. I hope we get to do it again sometime! Thanks to the TG for hosting such a great event and to John for organizing it!
Hugh gets the credit for organizing it.
Oh dern, youre right it is steak sauce. Got our spirits up and then... oh pooh:(
Thanks for orgnizing this, Jeremy and I had a really good time. It was nice meeting people and putting an actual person together with their blog.
WOW...sound's like everyone had a GREAT time. Sorry I missed it. My nephew at 19 passed away on friday. Went into the hospital with a very bad headache and found he had a none cancer mass at the bottom left side of his brain. They removed it a week ago today. The surgery went good. In I.C.U. after surgery he gave a thumbs up to every one. 3 hours later he had a massive stroke. His Mom and Dad had to pull the plug last friday at 4:30 and God took him home right away.I have been having to deal with all this here while my family is in North Carolina. We were unable to go back due to money and bills here. We may have been here but our hearts were in North Carolina. Been a tuff week and a half. But glad to see everyone had a wonderful time..Life is short and we all need to share our laughs and love with each other as much as we can.
Nice to see you guys had a wonderful time, you all look so nice...so when do the commenters get treated to Legend's? ;)
Darrick, Diana, Evil Monkey, Jaxspike and I would love a nice dinner :)

My condolences to you and your family. Such a sad sad thing to happen to such a young man.
