I'm a subscriber to the wonderful print magazine Mental_Floss, and I also keep up with their blog.
Well, the blog today had an entry about "7 of America's Quirkiest Food Festivals." Guess which snack-food-and-carbonated-beverage-related soiree was included?

How cool that we were included! It's nice to see the festival represented. I'm also glad to see we ranked quite a bit higher than the testicle festival in Montana!
Curious about Michigan having 6 of the top 10 festivals. I am not sure what that says, but I may pay better attention to the menu next time I am there.
I grew up in MI and don't remember that many festivals. Kalamazoo had a Harvest and Wine festival every fall that was always fun to attend.
Just ran home from our camping trip to the Lake(only 20 minutes away) to feed and water all animals..That is so cool that Bell Buckle is listed..I always love to go to everything that happens in Bell Buckle...It is always so much fun...And a great get together for the family....we are going to have our Great treat at the camp fire tonite...Roasted marshmallows...Any one in the area of the Lake this week-end Look us up and stop in...We are in the tent area...Will have hamburgers cooking tonite with tater salad and beans and then our treat....Come on and eat with us...
