Wilburn Hastings

I was shocked and saddened when putting together Sunday's paper today to see the obituary for Wilburn Hastings. We here at the paper knew Mr. Hastings largely through his work with the VFW and veterans' organizations, which would bring him to the newsroom regularly. He did a lot for veterans and for the community, and will be missed.

Yes. So sad. Also, Mr. Roger Brothers.

We've lost two good ones.

I hope we'll that some of us will step up and try to fill their shoes.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hasting and Mr. Brothers. I knew Mr. Hasting for several years, he sold me my first home.

My sympathy goes out to the his family and Mr. Brothers family also.

We lost two but Heaven Gain two, also.
