Don't be surprised if the video player on our web site site disappears or behaves strangely over the coming weekend. Our web video is provided by The Associated Press (AP), and AP is switching from one service provider to another, which will require some changes in how the video is integrated with our site. Our webmasters are going to have to update a number of sites to the new service at the same time, over a holiday weekend, and they have told me they are expecting some glitches.

If we have any breaking news video over the weekend, or early next week, we may just put it on YouTube and embed it on the site that way.
