Billy Mays, the fellow who plugs OxiClean, Kaboom! and a dozen other products at the top of his lungs on TV commercials and infomercials, now has his own TV show. Mays and another commercial pitchman, Anthony "Sully" Sullivan, will host "Pitchmen," premiering Wednesday on the Discovery Channel. Like the Simon Cowell-produced "American Inventor," which aired a few years back on ABC, "Pitchmen" showcases would-be inventors, who will try to convince Mays and Sullivan that their products are worthy of the infomercial treatment. This sounds like it could be fun, one of those guilty pleasure TV shows. I'll have to check it out. At any rate, Mays and Sullivan are having a better time than one of their competitors, ShamWow pitchman Vince Shlomi, who got into some trouble a couple of weeks ago for a sordid encounter that turned violent.
