Reaction to Curt Cobb resignation

Here are some political sites or blogs with announcements of, or reactions to, State Rep. Curt Cobb's decision to leave his legislative seat and take a job as Bedford County Clerk and Master:

I know Curt personally and I'm glad he's leaving and getting out of the rat race down there in Nashville. He's too decent to be in politics.

Why do you think there is an accused motive for Curt to resign?

I can see 3 reasons for him wanting to resign.

1) to spend more time with his family

2) Not work ridiculous hours

3) to make better money

I don't know about you, but I would resign also.

John, Can you or anyone who reads this please explain in cornbread terms what the motive or accused motive is concerning Cobb's decision to do this?
