Dispelling a rumorPosted Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at 4:33 PM
We've been tracking down an ugly rumor that was making the rounds today about a local tattoo parlor. We've gotten numerous calls about it, but we weren't able to get factual information until this afternoon.
The rumor is false. The tattoo parlor in question has not been the subject of any action by the state health department, and in fact, according to spokesperson Amanda Morris of Tennessee Department of Health, it scored a perfect 100 on its last inspection, in January. I got that text 3 times last night I figured it was just somebody trying to hurt his business. Glad you found out and printed the truth.
Thats right!!! Im a biz owner myself...and I know how lies can hurt a biz real quick...but Tom is very sterile with his work...I KNOW!!! I wear his work....And just as i have told everyone ...if there were any truth to it, the Health Dept woulda already been all over it!!! hang in there Tom & Julia...There is more in this town that LOVE ya than hate ya:)
I dont know why anyone would want to hurt anyone's business during this kind of economy but it definitely shows how classless and low the person is who is spreading the rumors.
Thank you for that. Most will not take the time to find the truth of such ugly rumors.
Tom and his family are wonderful people. They will help anyone out if they can. Go check out his new shop and see how clean it is always. I wear his work also.I am not just talking this cause I wear his work. I am telling everyone this cause they are really great people. You can go by there and check out his work and see how wonderful it is. He is working on a cross on my son's back and he still has to do the inside of it and he was not sure what to put. But Tom has a wonderful saying he is going to put in the cross.
John Carney...Forgot to tell you Thank You For posting this for Tom and his family. They have a new baby girl. He is a family man tring to take care of his family.
The tattoo shop in question is not the typical "tattoo parlor" that your grandfather might have visited while on liberty in San Diego nor the "outlaw" biker/drug dealing venture that hollywood depicts in it's movies. Tom runs his business like a professional. He cares for his customers and he's a real artist who promotes himself and his skills every time ink hits the skin. His shop is literally clean enough to eat off the floors. To top it all off, he's a good man. The fact that he passed his recent inspection 100% comes as no surprise to those that know him.
