Our user-submitted photo feature on the web site includes a feature for voting on photos you like. There's no prize, nothing at stake; it's just for fun.
Unfortunately, we've now gotten into a situation where people are complaining about each other, with one person indirectly accusing people of running up the vote and then someone who posted one of the photos complaining about the first person's comments. Please don't take this so seriously. As I pointed out, there's nothing at stake; the voting mechanism is just for fun. It hardly matters what the number is. Nevertheless, just to keep people from arguing about it, I've gone into the photo gallery options and changed the settings. Now, instead of voting on your favorite photos, you have the option of rating any photo from 1-5 stars. We'll see how this system works for a while. If people don't like it as well, we can go back to the other system. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Good grief...do people have nothing better to do than argue/complain about who got more votes or whose picture is better? Is this kindergarten?! Man, life is too short, just read the obit section today!!!
What may be to one person's liking may not necessarily placate another. However this is not something anyone should get bent out of shape over. As neighborhood mom pointed out, life is way too short.
oh please.. that is so petty. I am sorry you have gone through this childishness
