Relief for Japan

How does anyone start to help providing relief for the people in Japan?

I couldn't for the life of me see why the News Media would make a ridiculous statement that they thought the death toll could reach 1,000 people. I could see by the chaos that they should have been thinking hundreds of thousands of deaths if not millions.

It was horrible to watch, knowing many people were washed out to sea and may never be found. Not only an earth quake, but a tsunami at the same time.

Now they have to deal with Radiation Leaks, no matter what the Experts say.

And that isn't even the worst of it. Japan has to clean up before they can even begin to set up shops and businesses again. They are not only homeless now, but unemployed, hungry, thirsty and cold.

Our Prayers alone are not enough help.

Just as important as Japan's 9.0 magnitude earth quake (or was it 8.9 or the other 8.6 magnitude or was it actually 8.8 on the scale as reported today?) is the information that Qaddafi is still bombing its own people and rebels and the KINGS OF THE EARTH are just sitting on their plush office chairs talking on the phone and doing nothing to help the Rebels who have been man enough to try to stand up to Qaddafi and his armies. Now they are begging for help and no one comes to their aid. Boy, is God going to be mad now!

It is all NATO (No Action Talk Only). I can see Obama sitting back and not doing anything, (that's what he does) but I can't believe the rest of the world doesn't care either. They are all waiting until all the rebels are killed before they are going to get off their asses and do something to help the people who are trying to do something.

Obama need to bring our troops home form Irag and Afghan and use the money he saves to run the government for the rest of the year, then get out and go home to where ever he came from.

Of course that won't happen. Obama has to be re-elected in 2012. That is the whole purpose of Obama being nominated in the first place. Obama will be the last President of the USA.

I have always preached that 2012 will not be the end of the world, but I now believe that Dec 21, 2012 will be the beginning of a New One World ORDER!

It all comes together. Most people will not see any change at all. It will just be another day after day, with changes being made slowly.

For example:

Congress just stated that College Students have a Constitutional Right to carry guns to school. Then President Obama just announced March 13, 2011 that he wants stiffer enforcements of the gun control laws.

This post has been deleted due to incorrect information. Calsonic is only accepting internal donations.

HOLD ON, that name and numhber at Calsonic is for internal use only. They are not set up for outside contributions, but would appreciate any help given to the Red Cross. Please do not call Christina at Calsonie as I just did. Thanks.

It was in response to John asking what organizations were doing. As he is normally doing human interest pieces. It simply stated, She could direct you, (meaning John). If it was meant for the general public I would have said otherwise and I apologize if this was not more forthright.

So if Christina is getting a ton of calls, my bad. I know she is hot though. Yum

Don't feel bad!

I saw on the National News last night that the American Red Cross said Japan doesn't need any more CASH!

I find that hard to believe, but that is what they (the American Red Cross) said on National TV.

Don't Despair, we haven't seen the disasters in South America yet. They will be next.

This is going around the world!

The experts are saying that the Radiation Cloud should be here in America by tomorrow. But wait? Didn't the Experts say that this Radiation was not high enough to travel further than 50 miles?

Now they say it WILL reach the west coast of America by tomorrow, but it won't be harmful at all to anyone here.

The same report said that the government would have new Radiation Level reading equipment on the west coast by the end of the week. Why would that be needed if there is no radiation or low radiation.

Ever get the feeling that the Government and Scientific Experts are telling you... Unique Lies?

What National TV are you watching?

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Thu, Mar 17, 2011, at 5:25 PM

Fox, CNN, MSNBC, HLN news, CAVUTO on Fox Business News and Nashville Local.

You won't read it as it happens in the Shelbyville Times Gazette.

Japan is the second richest country in the world and is self reliant. They are now asking for help but not money.

We have been taught for years that if a nuclear reactor gets a crack in it it would release a cloud of radioactive dust that would spread over the earth killing millions of people.

Now when the tops get blown off the reactor buildings and exposes the rods - it is not any more harmful than having an X-Ray.

This is what the Governments and some Experts are saying today, while other nuclear experts are saying it is worst than that. Who do we believe?

Iodine pills and Radiation survival Kits sold on the internet are being sold out in America.

It's all in the News if you Stop, Look and Listen.

The bad thing about the news is that the reporters are trying to make exciting stories about the news, so you have to read between the lines.

"You won't read it as it happens in the Shelbyville Times Gazette."

I'm not sure if you meant that as criticism or not, but our first priority is reporting local news. We do include AP coverage of things like Japan as space permits, but our belief is that people want us to concentrate on what we can do best. We're never going to compete with CNN, and it would be ridiculous for us to try.

My original purpose, if you remember, was to try to find a local angle on the story. I found one, and it will be in Sunday's paper.

Mr. Carney,

I know I sound like a crazed wild person, but even I know I would be an idiot to assume you come publish National News as it happens without reporters around the world.

You don't have enough white space to publish that much News and wouldn't if you did, because Locals can get the National news on TV, but not the Local news of local people and happenings.

The local News Paper is designed to give the local people news about events and people in the local area, which can not be seen on National TV.

You can only publish the National News that is available before press time and then only the amount that will fit your free white space.

The Times Gazette does an excellent job of covering local events and stories. You have time to get the whole story before you print it where as National News Media just say anything they hear just to be the first to say it. Then they have to change it to the truth (sometimes).

As I stated in one of my comments above, I read between the lines. or hear between the lines.

For example, The Radiation leakage has been verified by several experts giving exact opposites of the dangers.

They claim the radiation is like having an ex-ray taken. Very low dosage! However the ex-ray technicians must wear protected gear because they are there taking several ex-rays at any given time. That makes perfect sense.

So... Let's listen between the lines!

This radiation leak is very low, but getting higher each day. The radiation is not shooting into their bodies for a second or two. They are being bombarded by this same low dosage 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

My seemingly un-logical crazy mind tells me that this harmless low dosage is now becoming a concentrated saturating level of radiation building up in the bodies of people anywhere this radiation is in the air.

I heard on the National news last night that the radiation was here on the west coast. They are saying that it is only about the amount you would get from an ex-ray.

They are also telling us that there is no radiation on the west coast from Japan.

Now I have to ask!

If the radiation will never make it all the way here from Japan because it will lose its strength over the ocean and the salt air will make it even less powerful, Why are they saying it has the same strength, here on the west coast, (amount you would get from an ex-ray) as it had over there in Japan?

The US is telling the world that the Japanese Government was lying about the amount of radiation released in Japan, yet the United States is telling us the same story on the west coast.

If we read between the lines, we each have to determine what the news really is!

Jicarney, you are doing a great job with the Times Gazette. I did not by any means try to undermine the purpose of the Times Gazette.

I was only letting EM know he had to watch the National News to get the National News.

Actually, I think he was referring to the American Red Cross when I said they stated that Japan didn't need any Cash.

The American Red Cross can always use money donations because they handle other disasters besides Japan. So Everyone is encouraged to donate to the American Red Cross, even when there is no known emergency being reported. There is always an emergency somewhere in the world if not in our own country.
