Scared of Santa

If you haven't been doing so already, by all means check out the photos we've started to receive for our Scared of Santa photo contest. They're adorable! Enter your own photos for a chance to win one of two valuable prizes.

But, of course, such photos are cute in part because they're unexpected. No one is looking for that kind of photo. Ideally, you as a parent would like a cheerful, happy photo of your toddler on Santa's lap. We ran an Associated Press story last Christmas season with some tips for making that happen; I couldn't find it in the computer system just now, but here's a link to a similar story on a parenting website.
