'Hee Haw & Howdy' in the 1970s

Posted Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 7:37 AM

I spent much of the afternoon Monday looking through our bound volumes, without success, for T-G coverage of the very first edition of "Hee Haw & Howdy," which I think took place in either 1976 or 1977. (One of the current cast members told me 1976, but I had another clip from the 1990s which listed the whateverth-annual performance; working back from that number, I came up with 1977.)

Does anyone have any old clippings or photos from "Hee Haw & Howdy" in its early years? E-mail me at jcarney@t-g.com.
