  • It would be beyond wonderful if commenters on the blogs had to meet the same requirement, just as the bloggers do.

  • >> JUST so YOU Know!

Tennessee Codes Annotated Title 5 - chapter 8 - Part 1 "Privilege Tax Authorized"

    (a) Privilege Taxes Authorized. Each county is empowered to levy privilege taxes upon merchants and such other vocations, occupations or businesses as are declared to be privileges, not exceeding in amount that levied by the state for state purposes.

(First we see) the county is empowered to levy privilege taxes UPON WHO? It says upon "Merchants" and such other "Vocations", "Occupations", or "Business" as are DECLARED to be Privileges, not exceeding in amount that is levied by the state for state purposes.

(Secondly) when did Bedford County become a "STATE"?

The Supreme Court of the United States of America has determined, "All codes, rules, and regulations are for government authorities only, not human/Creators in accordance with God's laws. All codes, rules, and regulations are unconstitutional and lacking due process..." Rodriques v. Ray Donavan (U.S. Department of Labor) 769 F. 2d 1344, 1348 (1985).

When you go to vote for the Wheel Tax you should know that it is unconstitutional if applied to the people in Bedford County.

This wheel tax may only be applied to Businesses who have purchased a license for the "PRIVILEGE" of doing Business in Bedford County.

The TN Code Annotated 5-8-102 is a tax applicable to government agencies and their employees and Business Entities and not human beings and are therefore lacking due process which means the courts can not try you if you don't pay because they do not have jurisdiction unless you give it to them.

If you notice in the Countys proposal they want to exempt the main persons who are liable for this tax according to ...Rodriques v. Ray Donavan (U.S. Department of Labor) 769 F. 2d 1344, 1348 (1985), The government agencies and their employees.

That leaves the Local Businesses holding the bill for expenses for construction of the school and the jail and the Tax for Roads and Bridges in Bedford County.

Now I moved here in 1983 and the Bedford County Jail was deemed the worst jail in the State of Tennessee. It has taken them all this time to finally realize that their jail is the worst jail and they violate peoples right with it. There should have been fines and imprisonments for the County and City personnel just for locking people up in there like animals that the citizens would go to jail for treating their dogs the same way.

It should be built by court costs! The unknown commenter.

Oh yeah, one more thing, if you vote to pass the tax, you will have to pay it because you don't know your rights.

Now to answer your Blog Subject:

All commenters have to register their name when they join the T-G blog with the Times Gazette, so there is a record of all commenters.

When I comment on the blogs, I comment on some pretty wild subjects and take them to the limits of your imagination and then some. I don't need people hunting me down or stalking me to torture me into giving them all the answers. That would be "Practicing Law without a License". I only reveal public knowledge which most people could care less about, but leads up to protecting your own rights.

I served in the military for what I was told was protecting the Rights of the people, but when I came home I was shocked to realize that everyone has already given their rights away to the government and courts. What a shame! Only some of us have fought for our rights.

It's just like the women demanding new rights to be equal or get equal pay. They want a President who will give them those rights.

They are looking at the impossible! No man nor woman can give you any rights. You already received your rights from God. What you did with them was your choice. Freedom comes at a cost.

  • I rest my case......

  • Steve, as you know it is difficult to debate with a fencepost. How may anyone intelligently argue a position without knowing and seeing with whom they are talking?

-- Posted by cmcclanahan on Wed, Feb 3, 2016, at 11:59 AM
  • Odd that you say that, Carl, because I have witnessed MANY of your "arguments with fence posts" in these pages over the past couple of years.

When reading news articles in the T-G, Time magazine or any other written news, do you actually see the writer to understand their printed word?

    I don't think so or at least I don't.

Why do you have to know a person or see them to listen to their point of view?

Your statements reek of the old "meet me in the schoolyard at 3 PM" from my school days.

    -- Posted by Ghost_Rider on Wed, Feb 3, 2016, at 1:53 PM
  • What is there to argue?

I told you where the information is and even explain it so you don't have to strain your brain. You want to argue the man or woman or the article?

If I tell you my name, you will want to see my drivers license to prove who I am. Then you will want my phone number so you can argue in person defeating the purpose of a blog.

Then you might even want my address so you can come over and discuss it in person, again defeating the purpose of the blog.

If I sent you a photo of myself, you would just be that more confused because you don't know me. And what good would it do to send a photo if you don't post it on every one of my comments?

Does that mean nobody reads these comments because they don't see a name, rank and serial number attached to them? I think not.

Me personally, I do not have any trouble commenting on any comments aimed at me or my comments or anything for that matter. I know what I am talking about, so I don't need to know who you are or what you are or what you look like.

I have made it hard for Steve on some of his blogs because he has to censor what is going on sometimes for our own protection. Steve is a good man and others could take a lesson from him.

I comment to get people all fired up and get the blog going. It usually wonders because I have made it interesting enough for people to answer my comments good or bad. People have to be fired up to get into the meat of the subject.

Steve throws things out there now and then to get my attention so his blogs will go on and on where as many blogs only have a couple comments then fizzle out.

Your case is very weak! You have no Standing to question my Authority! (legal terminology, LOL)

I snuck in and said what I had to say, so I am gone again. I leave it up to the voters to vote on what they want.

-- Posted by sui on Wed, Feb 3, 2016, at 2:34 PM
  • I have to agree with Ghost Rider that Carl's statements reek of the old "meet me in the schoolyard at 3 PM".

Actually they remind me of an even earlier time in my life when I heard "you can't play in my sandbox".

Evidently someone wee-wee'd in Carl's sandbox in his most recent blog and he tantrum-ed off and tore the sand box down.

    Boo-hooo....grow up.

I've never commented about you or on your 'blog'.

You are always trying to start an 'internet fight'. It's not a discussion or a debate. If anyone has a different opinion than yours, you become mean.

On one of your recent blogs, you vowed to never write again.

I was hoping you would keep your word about that, but just like most of your comments, you were full of it.

Now go away like you promised....

  • Here is a Who is Who for you!

"Madeleine Albright" - the first woman to hold the office of U.S. Secretary os State.

"There's a special place in hell for women who don't help each other."

"Madeleine Albright" evidently is the first woman to ever go to hell and locate a Special place in Hell for women who don't help each other.

I really think she was referring to Hillary Clinton, not the voters. You see, Hillary Clinton does not have the power to help any woman as a President of the United States, short of giving them a job in the White House.

The Amendments to the U.S. Constitution does not give any women any rights. The Amendments tells the government and the States that THEY can not violate the women's right to Vote, Speak, Bare Arms, They are not given permission to discriminate against a woman's Age, Color or Religion. The States are not allowed to force a woman to do hard labor unless as a punishment for a crime she has been found guilty of doing.

A WOMAN Pretty much has a right to do anything they want to do, so no President can give a woman any rights they don't already own.

So in closing, the only woman who would not be helping other women would be Hillary Clinton.

I have never read of any place in Hell for women who don't help each other, but I do know Hillary will be going there if this place does exist.

After making such a demonic statement, I believe "Madeleine Albright" will be going there too because she has just injured women all over the country trying to make them believe Hillary will be able to help them.

What do Women want that they don't have or could not get for themselves?

Walmarts raised their minimum wage up then shut down several of their stores Nation wide. Isn't that what women wanted?

-- Posted by sui on Sun, Feb 7, 2016, at 12:47 PM
  • And who would know more about the plight of women or minorities than some old white dude.

    Thanks Sui

-- Posted by Rocket Valentine on Sun, Feb 7, 2016, at 1:47 PM
  • I don't get it?

Jason Reynolds stated in his blog; "One of the basic things we need to know is who is involved, be it a picture or story. Specifically, we need first and last names."

cmcclanahan, also agrees with this theory because he has touble debating with a fence post.

Even though I am considered some old white dude, I give you the words of the World Renowned "Madeleine Albright" (a real live first and last name) - the first woman to hold the office of U.S. Secretary of State who said "There's a special place in hell for women who don't help each other."

Well this world famous Madeleine Albright, has just committed Fraud against every woman in the entire world with her lie about a Special place in Hell for women.

There could be a Nationwide case action law suit against this woman (Madeleine Albright) for her attempt to scare women into voting for Hillary Clinton, so they don't go to this Special place in Hell set aside just for women who don't help other women.

I can only Imagine what the women of other religions will have to say about this? It just might be considered "Hate Speech" or "Blasphemy" against the women of other religions.

Common sense will tell you, if you have any common sense, that there is no way

Madeleine Albright would know this unless she has gone to Hell and come back to tell about.

It was just a lie to pressure women into voting for Hillary Clinton, "just in case" it's true! Madeleine Albright injured the women by committing fraud against the women for the purpose of shaming them into voting for a woman.

If what Madeleine Albright was true - She would be the first woman to go to this special place in hell because she just violated the trust of all the women in the world by telling this lie which means she is NOT helping other women by any means.

Let me be the first man to wish Madeleine Albright success on her future journey to this special place in Hell, set aside just for women like herself who do not HELP other women.

Oh wait a minute! I have it all wrong! All the United States Secretaries of State are suppose to lie to the people and congress. I assume that goes for the courts also.

Thanks for the recognition Rocket Valentine, but I don't think that will work as good as a Phd or other title such as Secretary of State? I am just a Sui Juris, but you have to admit though, I am right!

Anyway you look at it, all Madeleine Albright has to do is apologize and everything will just go away.

-- Posted by sui on Sun, Feb 7, 2016, at 4:51 PM
  • Sui, it is hard if not impossible to convince most people of anything based on common sense since it is really extremely uncommon.

RV, I think a lot of old white dudes along with people of all sexes, ages, and colors would know about the plight of women and minorities. In case you haven't noticed, most people are some sort of victim or another. As a matter of fact, I think the only ones left that can't claim some sort of victimhood is middle-aged white guy Christians.

You may be interested in a column I wrote for Sunday's paper, based on this blog's conversations.

I'm not taking sides with anyone or pointing fingers. I'm just saying I don't see the point of all this tit-fot-tat. That said, I appreciate everyone taking an interest in our blogs. :)

  • I read your column right away, Mr Reynolds. It is odd how your post took such a strange turn, but that is what happens on this sort of forum.

I generally read some portion of the comments on most current events reporting in a variety of online publications. My wife and kids tell me it is a waste of time, but I find it interesting to read what people are thinking (or believing). I seldom make any comment anywhere but here, because (believe it or not) this is one of the more civil forums I have seen. Most of them only have a few legitimate comments before degenerating into name calling. I often wonder what compulsion drives me to make comments, because the internet forum is a form of communication where everyone talks, but no one listens. I do attempt to consider what the other person says, and respond in a reasoned, fact-based, and thoughtful way, devoid of name calling. It really is harder than you might think, sometimes. If a discussion degenerates into name calling, I just stop responding. If continuing would only constitute repeating what I already said, I discontinue participation. But, generally, I find it unnecessary to continue, because the other person's response really "stands" on its own merit.

I suppose that my thinking is that, while those participating in the discussion are not going to ever "listen" to anything I say, there might be people who read the discussion with an open mind, and get something out of it.... I suppose that I might be writing for the sole benefit of Steve Mills.

That said, I would be interested in having my own space on here, but have no idea how to begin?

-- Posted by lazarus on Tue, Feb 9, 2016, at 9:24 AM
  • I sent an email to the T-G once and inquired about writing my own blog on here, but they never did reply back to me.

I just figured my views must have been too liberal for them.

-- Posted by Rocket Valentine on Tue, Feb 9, 2016, at 10:35 AM
  • RV,

    That will never happen.

-- Posted by Evil Monkey on Wed, Feb 10, 2016, at 5:33 PM
  • Interesting; Over night, I went from being an Old White Dude who knew the plight of women, to some sort of victim or another. To a whining old white guy.

I am in my 70's, but I am always being hit on by women in their 30's, 40's, 50's and sometimes women in their 20's. I just ignore them as I am married and much too old for all of them. I just find it strange that women in their 60's, 70's and 80's don't hit on me who are more by age.

Maybe I am not an Old White Dude or Old White Guy after all, or the women don't really care what a man looks like. I am not going to go in that direction, only going to say I don't feel Old.

The only thing I will say is that I know things that very few people will every know, let alone understand.

For example, I tell everyone that if someone goes to a school (special or not) to earn a PHD etc., they will ONLY LEARN what the School teaches them. Watch Water's World to see just how intelligent the college students are today and they are the ones who will be leading our great grand children. They don't know how to lead themselves.

  • White guys have no claim to victumhood, since they are the privileged in America and have oppressed ever other race.Sui those young women hitting on you are looking for a sugar daddy.Walmart only shut down little minimarts not the regular stores. The are opening 2 more inMurfreesboro.Walmart can well afford to raise wages and open more stores. So yes women at Walmart need a raise to equal to men salaries. What I call braindead are those that cheer when a candidate talks vulgar ,mocks the disable, degrades women, talks about shooting people and looks down on minorities. What is scary is they call themselves Christians.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Feb 12, 2016, at 12:08 PM
  • While it is patently ridiculous to call white men persecuted today, neither is it accurate to make blanket accusations that they have oppressed every other race. Being white and male accorded me certain advantages, but nothing was ever given to me just because of those factors. And, while some white males have oppressed other races, it seems apparent that slavery would not have ended, nor would the civil rights movement nor the movement to give women political power have succeeded to the degree they have, if it were not for the support of the majority of white males... White males originally had all the power, remember?

What I see is those with the power and wealth playing off the poor and middle class of every race against one another. There is no question that wealth is flowing out of the middle class. It is not flowing down.

-- Posted by lazarus on Fri, Feb 12, 2016, at 2:59 PM
  • Yes some white men do support minorities but not credit for the civil rights or women's movement. They only gave in after their backs were against the wall after many many protest, marches, bombings, sit ins and killings. This did not look good for America to the world on the 6 o'clock news.I agree about the wealth and power playing off poor and middle class of every race against one another.

-- Posted by lets be real on Fri, Feb 12, 2016, at 3:34 PM
  • Doesn't LBJ get credit? I thought he was some kind of hero for getting civil rights legislation passed. A big democrat victory. Oh, wait a minute, it was the republicans he got to pass that. Anyway, there were plenty of guys that let their women go burn their bras. Can't really imagine anyone would think we would be against that!

-- Posted by fair share on Fri, Feb 12, 2016, at 5:47 PM
  • lets be real;

You claim, "White guys have no claim to victumhood, since they are the privileged in America and have oppressed ever other race." I fully agreee with your conclusion!

White guys shouldn't have any claims to Victimhood, because that is just another word for all those oppressed races, religions and sexes to use to say "PITY ME!"

The white people bought slaves just like they did everything else that was imported to the United States. And it's still going on right here in America today as sex slavery markets.

The blacks were freed but not the sex slaves. They are still in slavery with no freedom of choice in their lives. Even the women were just above a slave in the Old Testament and it carried on that way for centuries until they wised up.

When this country was founded and fought for all the people in America were said to be FREE by the act of God. All men (including women) were created equal with Inalienable rights. The women allowed the white man to oppress them into staying home and doing "women chores". They were happy with that because the man provided their security, love and happiness.

Today that isn't what the women want, so what do they do? They pull this "Victimhood" or as I call it "PITY ME" crap. If they want to get paid more, demand more or walk off and get it somewhere else.

Women own businesses and you don't hear them complaining about not making enough money. Do they pay men more than they do the women?

Women were recognized as having Inalienable Rights just like the men. Read the U.S. Constitution if you don't believe me. Or keep playing the "Pity Me" card and stay where you are. The slaves on the other hand were not recognized as having Inalienable Rights like the white man BECAUSE the U.S. government gave the blacks Civil Rights. (Not the same as Inalienable rights). Don't get me wrong! I didn't say black men. I said the black slaves which included the black women. The black woman also has "Civil Rights" but not Inalienable Rights.

There IS a Difference in "Inalienable Rights" and "Civil Rights". It is as different as Black and white.

As for the young women hitting on me wanting a sugar daddy, sorry, I gave all my sugar way years ago.

Walmart closing mini-marts down was a big money saver. Not only do they have to pay those salaries, but the money saved will pay pennies on wage increases for Minimum wages (new employees) but not all the regular workers. Regular workers get a raise they will get their hours shortened.

Walmart is a Giant that goes into big cities and forces Mom and Pop Businesses out of Business with their low prices - then Walmart doesn't keep the stores stock up unless they sell a lot of the item.

lets be real, you said, "So yes women at Walmart need a raise to equal to men salaries." However, you didn't say if the women DID get a raise in their salary equal to that of the men. Would it be fair to raise the woman's salary, but not the man's salary? Wouldn't that be discriminating against the men?

Those people are NOT Brain dead. Their brain is malfunctioning and working in the wrong direction.

Just like the psychos who claim to be militias then take over a government building.

The Feds don't have jurisdiction over the people unless they are federal citizens or in federal territories or (buildings).

That shows everyone just how brain dead these psychos were to give up their sovereignty to the Federal Government by storming a Federal Building and taking hostages.

Another Violation of kidnapping and holding people against their will. That isn't something a Sovereign would do, because it is against the Constitution, only the psychos who claim to be a militia.

You throw that word Christian around a lot. I don't care what anyone says, this country was founded on Christianity and anyone who doesn't like Christianity shouldn't be here. Foreigners want to come here because we are a free nation of Sovereign people. That is, if you are white and you KNOW HOW TO CLAIM YOUR SOVEREIGNTY. Everyone else is a 14th Amendment Citizen and is included as the enemy to the United States and so therefore, they (Men and Woman) MUST purchase a License to do Business, Fish, Hunt, Marry, Drive a car or run a boat or do anything that we the people have an Inalienable Right to do.

You use the word Christian like we use the word Muslim. You can't stand to hear Americans refer to Muslims as one kind of people, yet you do the very same thing with Christians. There are good and bad in everything.

It all stems from Life is what you make it. We were all dealt a hand and we have to live with it or change it somehow.
