poor little "fat" girl

Ok, we have all seen or heard about how Britney Spears botched her "come back." Yes, it was bad, yes, I think she probably had three too many margaritas before she went on stage and yes, the poor girl's entire life and career is in shambles. However, to say that she is fat? I have to disagree with that one.

ok, so maybe she does not have the hot bod that she had before two babies, but who does? I agree that she probably should've gone for the "not sexy enough" corset that the MTV people had picked out for her. If I were going on stage in front of all of those people, I think I might have opted for something more than a corset, but no one wants to see me on stage at the VMAs or in a corset for that matter.

But to say the girl is fat is a sad statement.

Brit's problems are more extensive than the size of her butt.

Sorry I missed the all of it. Didn't see the performance, didn't see the pictures. Though, I have heard the song, not my favorite but none of hers are favorites of mine. Do you have a link to the pictures?

LOL... I LOVE britney, but the performance was horrible.. But she is NOT fat. Statements like that come from the media and people who sit behind computers all day to over analyze the lifestyles of people they shouldn't be concerned with.

Keeley you are correct. Performance=NOT SO GREAT, Body=Not the best, afterall she is a mommy. To me it just goes to show she doesn't have everything tucked in, under, or whatever one can say.

Honestly, with all the negative publicity from her performance, she will get more attention than had her performance been one of the best. After all bad news spreads faster than good...

I don't like Britney Spears, her performance stunk because I will bet she was on something, she sure didn't even seem like she knew where she was at. It was horrible and even though this will get her press, I am sad to say, this girl is most likely a has been JMO...

but the fat remarks are uncalled for and she sure looked good for having 2 kids. She could have picked a better outfit I agree, but hey, if you got it, flaunt it.

I think that the Media has went on a terrible tear and is slowly driving this sweet girl crazy, i mean they wont leave her alone. She has no privacy at all, she can't walk outside to her car without 30 photographers trying to look under her dress.

I wish I was that "fat" again. But, if I had to take drugs or have surgery, forget it. She looked strung out on something.

I think she likes the attention. Always has. It probably gets tricky when you try to have a family though.

I don't feel sorry for Britney . . . or the Lindsay Lohans, Paris Hiltons or Nicole Ritches of the world. They choose their lifestyles and the stupidity they engage in so they must reap what they sow. And really, if you cant dance or lipsynch your own song . . . your talent is pretty minimal. But really, can she sing anyway? I wish people like her would disappear because this is not the kind of role model that kids need to be looking up to.

As far as the fat comments . . . I wish I was fat like that. I am a guy but I figure after having two kids, being that in shape is pretty good. She decided to wear the outfit though so she subjected herself to criticism.

I am sorry, I just don't have much sympathy for the talentless hack . . .

I think she got out of it, exactly what she wanted.. PEOPLE TALKING...

After all, her name is in your thoughts (though nevegative or positive)...

Her album will do good just because, but her performance was no good. But since I have an opinion of it, I took the time to watch it, and now it's the talk of Hollywood. Had it been a good performance, it would have been left at that.

Okay so I am not a big fan of Britney's. I do like the new song, and at one time I absolutely loved her. Lately she has been doing some pretty crazy things, and yes I think she needs some kind of help. She is clearly on drugs or something..JUST MY OPINION..

But DANG, I keep reading over and over again about how "fat" she is. Where is the fat? She has curves and doesn't look like a stick figure and somehow that is WRONG in today's society? The woman had 2 kids a year apart and looks pretty darn good to me. I would have liked to look that good after 2 kids back to back, wouldn't you? Sure the outfit was a bit yucky, wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was no different than a bathing suit.

It is so heartbreaking that in today's world, a woman with a little meat on her bones is considered a cow. Yes, I actually read that on a comment posted on some yahoo blog.

People wonder why we have all the teen girl suicides, the drug abuse, the eating disorders..well here is your answer, when someone that looks like Britney is considered a cow and someone that weighs 100 lbs (Hi Paris) is considered the beauty, what do you expect young girls to think? That they have to maintain society's vision of perfection. SAD SAD TIMES and men can say "I accept you for you" but I guarantee you most of them wouldn't. They have the sick image of perfection of what a girl/woman should look like and I am sick of it.

Britney can handle the "her performance sucked, her lipsynching sucked, her dancing sucked" comments. I think she already knows that, but to keep bashing on this poor woman because she is "fat" is disgusting. It's people like that, that cause others to kill themselves. Just think of All the young girls that will be affected by all the negative comments about her weight, I hope people are all happy with the results that will inevitably be tragic.

If Britney Spears is fat then I am morbidly obese! (sp?) I don't think Paris weighs 100 lbs. Im not sure she weighs 80.

Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.

Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. She said it anyway.

Sam Lufti (VMA producer) was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: "Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh."

Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance. Britney was seen backstage in Alli's arms crying about how cruel people can be to her babies.

While it is Silverman's job to get a laugh, it should not be at the expense of little babies. Your career must be hurting if you have to turn to bashing infants in order to gain a laugh. You'll get what's yours.

Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do.

Supposedly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped.

Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance AT THE LAST MINUTE (remember, they had REHEARSED again and again the original performance, to be told a day or two before that she can't perform what she had been practicing for weeks... HOW would a football team react, if they had prepared for weeks for their biggest game of the season, to find out they can no longer use certain plays or certain people are disqualified, their pland would be a disaster.. much like the War.. Plans, plans, plans, and none of them have been carried out as scripted, therefore things are miserable.)

Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing...

WOW! Darrick that was great info. Have to agree (no fainting now :))Where do you get this stuff? Silverman is way out of line with her personal attacks involving the children. Then again I have never found her to be very funny anyway. She sure wasn't that night. I hope that they ban her from future broadcasts.

I agree. I believe that this is the 2nd time that Sarah Silverman has joked out of line. MTV doesn't seem to care though....They keep calling her back.

LOL Britney is far from being Fat. I always loved her music but I did like it a lot better when she first started singing, than I do now. But then again I liked The Spice Girls too..

I just think Britney should personally talk about the show making her change her performance at the last minute.

Either way, there are still diehard fans who will be in line, the first day of album sales... I just want to hear something new. She used to put out an album every other year, this one has been FOREVER in the making. Of course, 18 months of that time was spent bearing children...

I just hope people stop saying she's fat cuz she isn't!

Like really, there are more important things going on than Spears tragic life.

Plus, its sad that people like her with no talent gets what she wants while real musical artists struggle everyday.

Yea, see this is not really about her talent. It's about the fact that people are constantly trying to shred her to pieces. It hasn't worked so far so Sara Silverman took it upon herself to deliver the low blows about Britney's children.
