I know I know...It's been a while. October has proven to be a busy month for our family. At this very moment, I am wedged in the backseat of our van. We are on our way home from a short trip to Atlanta.

We went to Atlanta because of a commercial real estate conference. Darrell and my grandfather are really into the real estate thing. While they were at the conference my grandmother, Ava and I enjoyed the abundance of shopping centers that Atlanta has to offer. It was amazing! Neiman Marcus, Saks, Macys, all of my favorite places! It must be nice to be Ava..It seems as if everything we got was for her!

Yesterday we went to the Georgia Aquarium. Let me tell ya, that place is big! I felt that that aquarium was just right. Not too many of the same exhibits. I have to mention the food court. That had to be better than some of the shopping malls that we went to. That red velvet cupcake that I got was almost too pretty to eat!

I would've liked to have gone to the World of Coke. It looked like a pretty cool place. We did take a stroll through Centennial Olympic Park, which was nice. I can't forget to tell you about the Dalai Lama...He was speaking in the park. Thousands of people were there to hear him. If you know anything about my grandfather, you might have a few ideas of what he had to say to some of the people that were there so see him...It was quite funny!

It was a great trip. If you're looking for a quick getaway, I highly recommend Atlanta. There is tons to do for everyone.

Be sure to stay away from the Holiday Inn downtown. It was pretty yucky!

Thousands of people listening to the Dalai Lama, but talk is cheap. If those listening actually found out that the Dalai Lama had two top advisors who were Nazis and one convicted of genocide, (which the Lama knew about) then they might walk away from the Lama
