You just did do something about it. You expressed an opinion without reprecussions. Just as the framers of the Constitution intended. As far as "being considered to pass a law to make it a hate crime to talk about people that believe in same sex relationships" what is your source for this information? Where is it being considered? Who is introducing this legislation?

Blogs are great. But the more you write stuff with blanket statements like that the more you're going to get called on it.

First off I have no problem with immigrates I have a problem with illegal immigrates whether they come here on their own or by means of some business bringing them here under the pretense of having them to do jobs no one else will do (which BTW is a crock the same jobs have been done for years without these illegals) If they want to come into the United States it Must be done legally, pay taxes just as I have to do, learn OUR language it is not my city's responsibility to teach their children to learn to speak English with my tax dollars. The United States was founded on Christian principals but now just so we don't offend anyone Prayer was taken from our schools Christmas Holidays are now Winter Breaks. And why is this done if the Christians have more rights? Do other countries bend over backwards to adapt to our way of life? No they do not ! If I moved to Mexico I had better be willing to adapt to their way of life and would expect nothing less. I don't go to France and expect them to cater to my way of life nor do I expect them to speak English to me…

I decided to go to this "credible" website you talked about. AFA.NET and I read their 10 arguments against gay marriage.

Let's start with argument #1..The decline of marriages and children with multiple mom's and dad's. Okay so there are millions of children in AMERICA born to "straight" people that have no fathers or multiple fathers or the mother's don't even know who the father is. Divorce in America is on the uprise between straight christian adults and when one spouse or both remarry then one assumes that the child has multiple mom's, dad's, half siblings, step-siblings, etc. Is that covered in the bible, should we ban divorce and make people that are in unhealty perhaps even abusive relationships stay married just to uphold the sanctity of marriage? and what about babies born out of wed lock? what do you think we should do with them? Most children are shuffled (as your site puts it) from pillar to post, from one parent to another, to the grandparents, to the system NEVER having a stable enviroment. There are many children in need of loving homes, most won't adopt them because they aren't the rosy cheeked perfect white babies they want. So what is so wrong if a homosexual couple wants to give a child that needs love a home, a safe haven, nurturing? You CANNOT tell me that couples adopting these children will "make" them gay. All the gay children have been raised by straight people so far.

Argument #2.."The introduction of legalized gay marriages will lead inexorably to polygamy and other alternatives to one-man, one-woman unions."

Do you also believe this will lead to people marrying their dogs or cats if they so choose also? Polygamy is a "christian" based thought that people follow by translating the bible to read what they want it to say. WELL HELLO Polygamy ALREADY exists and has for 100's of years. So the legalization of gay marriage can't lead to something that alreaady exists in the world...that was a stupid argument on the AFA.net's part.

Argument #3...An even greater objective of the homosexual movement is to end the state's compelling interest in marital relationships altogether. After marriages have been redefined, divorces will be obtained instantly, will not involve a court, and will take on the status of a driver's license or a hunting permit. With the family out of the way, all rights and privileges of marriage will accrue to gay and lesbian partners without the legal entanglements and commitments heretofore associated with it.

THEY DO NOT WANT TO TAKE AWAY THE RIGHTS OF THE STRAIGHT PEOPLE, THEY JUST WANT THE SAME RIGHTS!! Did allowing the blacks to ride the same bus,go to the same schools and vote interfer with your marriage in any way?

Argument #4...With the legalization of homosexual marriage, every public school in the nation will be required to teach that this perversion is the moral equivalent of traditional marriage between a man and a woman. Textbooks, even in conservative states, will have to depict man/man and woman/woman relationships, and stories written for children as young as elementary school, or even kindergarten, will have to give equal space to homosexuals.

I have 3 kids in school and as far as I know, marriage of any kind is not discussed is schools, only in the church. They are too busy giving our children an education to teach them about marriage. That is my job!!!

Argument #5 deals with the adoption issue..a loving home is a loving home NO MATTER WHO SUPPLIES IT!!

Argument #6..Foster-care parents will be required to undergo "sensitivity training" to rid themselves of bias in favor of traditional marriage, and will have to affirm homosexuality in children and teens.

Foster parents are there to create a safe place for all children, if a child is homosexual then they should have to support them on it, they don't need to be affirmed that they are gay. Just like if they have black, mexican or AIDS babies, they are there to love them and help them in their lives.

Argument #7..Social Security..

No need to worry about that, your beloved George W. Bush has already insured that we will not have any money when we get ready to retire so that is a MOOT point.

Argument #8..Conversely, our U.S. Supreme Court has made it clear that it looks to European and Canadian law in the interpretation of our Constitution.13 What an outrage! That should have been grounds for impeachment, but the Congress, as usual, remained passive and silent.

Looking to European and Canadian law (which are far more advanced than our country) is reason for impeachment? Interesting...I am thinking that sending our troops to die in a insane useless war for oil would be reason enough for impeachment..another stupid argument on your side.

Argument #9..Perhaps most important, the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be severely curtailed.

Gays can't be christians and teach their children about God? wow that is one I have never heard before. What about all your precious evangelist that have been caught with young boys engaging in sex all the while preaching christianity to you and then he ask for forgiveness and it's given and you still look to him for guindance. "The Jewish law was created by God to help regulate human behavior. To remind the churches in Corinth and Ephesus how God wants us to treat one another, Paul recites examples from the Jewish law first. Don't kill one another. That's the lesson we all need to learn from these texts. God doesn't want us squabbling over who is "in" and who is "out." God wants us to love one another. It's God's task to judge us. It is NOT our task to judge one another.

So what do these two texts say about homosexuality? Are gays and lesbians on that list of sinners in the Jewish law that Paul quotes to make an entirely different point?

Greek scholars say that in first century the Greek word malaokois probably meant "effeminate call boys." The New Revised Standard Version says "male prostitutes."

As for arsenokoitai, Greek scholars don't know exactly what it means -- and the fact that we don't know is a big part of this tragic debate. Some scholars believe Paul was coining a name to refer to the customers of "the effeminate call boys." We might call them "dirty old men." Others translate the word as "sodomites," but never explain what that means.

In 1958, for the first time in history, a person translating that mysterious Greek word into English decided it meant homosexuals, even though there is, in fact, no such word in Greek or Hebrew. But that translator made the decision for all of us that placed the word homosexual in the English-language Bible for the very first time.

In the past, people used Paul's writings to support slavery, segregation, and apartheid. People still use Paul's writings to oppress women and limit their role in the home, in church, and in society.

Now we have to ask ourselves, "Is it happening again?" Is a word in Greek that has no clear definition being used to reflect society's prejudice and condemn God's gay children?

We all need to look more closely at that mysterious Greek word arsenokoitai in its original context. I find most convincing the argument from history that Paul is condemning the married men who hired hairless young boys (malakois) for sexual pleasure just as they hired smooth-skinned young girls for that purpose.

Responsible homosexuals would join Paul in condemning anyone who uses children for sex, just as we would join anyone else in condemning the threatened gang rape in Sodom or the behavior of the sex-crazed priests and priestesses in Rome. So, once again, I am convinced that this passage says a lot about God, but nothing about homosexuality as we understand it today."

Please consider one last thing. I love the Bible. I read God's Word in it and hear God's Word through it. But the United States is not a nation governed by the Bible. Our nation is governed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Our laws were created to protect an individual's right to disagree. If the Bible (or someone's view of the Bible) replaces the Constitution as the law of the land, we undermine the great foundation upon which this country was built.

No Human is without sin.. but yet you are wanting to Curse the "sins" of others while your sins are forgiven. Lets just say for a moment it is a sin to be gay or have an abortion. -Bush was born on July 6 = Cancer, one of the three water signs. He was born in America, which celebrates its birthday on July 4 = Cancer. He was born in New Haven Connecticut, which was founded by Puritans on March 17, 1638 = Pisces, another water sign, though he claims to be from Texas, which on March 2, 1836 became a Republic = again Pisces. The Thursday "feast day" is an obvious reference to Thanksgiving, which identifies the Antichrist as an American president. It indicates he will have considerable military success at first, but in the process stir up ancient fears and sunni vs shiite hatreds, that will eventually lead to the battle of Armageddon.

-In June of 1999, Bush formally declared his candidacy for president, and by a July he was already calling himself the president. It is important to understand it was not just a mistake. The AntiChrist receives his authority from Satan - not from God, and not from men. By "mistakenly" calling himself president before any election had been held, Bush was announcing to the world for the first time in July of '99 that he was Satan's chosen ruler - the AntiChrist. Likewise the first AntiChrist, Napoleon, crowned himself emperor. And again the second AntiChrist aka Hitler never waited to receive a popular mandate before seizing power. Like Hister, Ma-bus aka 'AMerican- Bush', aka MAgog Bush, used thugs to enforce his authority in Dade county. If Bush had won the popular vote, and had not stolen the election in Florida, it would have been conclusive evidence that he was not the third AntiChrist.

Secondly, the quatrain refers to the fact that Antichrist will come into the world from the sky - the French word can also be translated as 'heaven'. George Bush was born in 'New Haven' Connecticut. (Scripture says Jesus will also return from heaven, and the antichrist is the counterfeit of Christ.)

Thirdly, it indicates that after the US gets bogged down and weakened by a religious war in the Middle East, it will be Communist China's good luck to be able to overrun what's left of the world in the style of Genghis Khan!

Then there's the Bush family alliance with the greatest evil in history - Adolph Hitler. Bush's grandfather Prescott Bush, also a 'scull and bones' man, got rich first by helping the Nazis come to power, then helping Hitler build the war machine that would decimate the world, and then even benefiting from Nazi slave labor and the extermination of millions of Jews. Auschwitz was built near coal deposits so that slave labor could be used in one of Prescott Bush's holdings, the Silesian American Corporation. Even after the US declared war on Germany, Prescott Bush continued violating the Trading With the Enemy Act, until the government finally shut him down late in 1942 - but not before making him rich, and establishing the Bush family as a power in American politics .

I just have to bring up one point. darrick_04, I will dispute one "fact" that you mentioned. The United States of America is not, nor has it ever been, a democracy. We happen to live in what's referred to as a Constitutional Republic. If we lived in a true democracy, nothing would ever get accomplished...wait, maybe you have a point there.

Ohhhh The Constitution, our current government has crushed it so badly I am not sure it will ever recover. We are in Iraq to give them freedom to form their own Constitution, maybe we should have just given them ours beings we aren't using it anyway. It would have saved a lot of lives, time and money.

I am a christian because I believe in GOD and Jesus Christ, and nothing will ever change that. And although I don't have the facts to prove that either of them exist, I still believe. I don't attend a church and clearly, am unable to state scriptures that are needed to prove points on here. I make mistakes, I sin. I am pregnant now, unmarried. But, GOD forgives and still loves us anyways. I am a christian because of I know GOD and Jesus Christ is real and nothing is ever going to take that faith away from me.

People have always had love and compassion inside of us, since day one. It's called the spirit, that which we become after death. Jesus gave love and compassion to all through his holy spirit, and we are all of GOD's children. People that never hear about GOD or Jesus, people that are brought up not to believe in him, still have him inside of him. It's called FAITH, the thing also factoring our spirit. Jesus does not turn his back on us, it is usually us who turns our back on him.
