A Awesome Day

Posted Friday, November 23, 2007, at 8:23 AM

It was a real blessed Thanksgiving yesterday, Jesus took 195 dinners to the less fortunate[he used LIGHTHOUSE Church to do it.]

We started at about 10:00 and was done about 12:30 and I got hungry watching all that food be served.

I went to the house and got my fill , took me a nap and had some more, what a day.

The old adage is true "it is better to give than to receive.

Hallejah!

Pastor Jay Pope and his congregation sure did a great job and gave glory to God on Thanksgiving.

They also have a super children's ministry where they go pick up the kids by bus, have a church lesson for them and then feed them, before returning them home.

I'm proud to say I know & love many in this church and in my opinion they are doing works in the community that a church should be doing.
