This may be a lengthy blog so bear with me please.

When I was 3 years old I had asthma real bad and had several close calls but never like one Friday afternoon when my lungs collapsed and my parents and my grandfather had to rush me to the hospital.

The doctor on staff didn't think much was wrong so he checked me off as OK, my family thought better and rushed me to Swanee to a specialist that my grandfather knew and she said it would be a miracle if I made it through the night. That miracle showed up!

As I lay in a oxygen tent near death and my family prayed non stop until they fell asleep I felt a presence in my room and it was a angel of light and the angel said" It is not your time you have a job to do in life"

I went home the next day will a clean bill of health, miracles do happen.

Being only a child I never thought nothing or even remembered the visit that night.

I grew up and did the things all children do, was drug to church and hated every minute of it, quit going at 21 and lost faith completely until 25 when because of a young lady leaving I decided to get drunk, boy was I drunk.

The police said by all rights I should not have been walking much less driving, I was in the car but not driving , someone else was, my grandfather who had passed away a few years before was and still is my guardian angel.

I started seeking God again and going to different churches while still drinking, doing drugs and shacking up for almost 5 years.

Had a failed marriage and all sorts of failed relationships and was packed up and going to leave Tennessee for good, then Melissa came into my life, engaged within a month and married in six months.

Then the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ forgave all of my past transgressions and I was forgiven.

We started trying to have children with no luck, my wife had to have one of her tubes removed because of a 10 lb tumor which decreased our chances of having children by quiet a bit.

With the prayers of a church we were attending[ and some medical miracles from a Christian doctor] we now have 10 year old twin daughters.

For a person who played around with God and even turned high back on him I sure have been blessed.

My mom died in 04 and a certain "friend of mine" made the remark that because my mom wore pants and cut her hair that she was in Hell.

All this the very day after I put her in the ground myself.

This drove me from God again and back in the bottle even worse, my wife threatened to take the girls and leave, this straightened me up temporally.

I was listening to everyone's else sermons and doctrines and it drove me to study scripture like I never have before.

I came to the conclusion that only a few things really matter

Jesus lived

Jesus died

Jesus lives

My faith rest in this!

As my 40th birthday approaches that job that the angel told me I had to do has finally become revealed to me.

I have been doing it for years and that is to be a preacher.

I have no problem with all those who go to school to be a preacher or teacher of the word but, to me if you are called by God , he will show you all you need to know.

I have taken courses in Church history to learn the mistakes that have been made.

Since only denominations have colleges to learn the word I took it upon myself to find a non-denominational church to teach me and ordain me as a Pastor.

Technically a Pastor has to have a flock which I seem to have just in fellowshipping with them.

If it leads to a building of my own or a already existing church then great if not that is fine to.

I have taken courses in Evangelism and Biblical counseling also and are still taking classes.

First and foremost my job is to spread the god news and if God can use someone like me he can use anybody.

I hope the sermons that God gives me will help and inspire and have a impact on someone's life

6:16 Thus says the LORD: "Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'

Jeremiah 6:16 RSV

Everybody seems to have a title for their ministry and this verse is mine.

In the Jewish text the word "Crossroads" is used and my life seems to always be at a crossroads.

I still attend Lighthouse church and study under Pastor Jay Pope and will until God calls me out on my own.

I have chosen the old roads in my teaching 80 %HELLFIRE AND BRIMSTONE" to convict and convince and 20% of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ.

NUM.6:24 The LORD bless you and keep you: 6:25 The LORD make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you: 6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace
