Unveiling Islam

We have always wondered especially me why all the hatred between the people of Islam and the ones of Christianity and especially Judaism.

I done some research and here is what I came up with.

It is not all about the oil , they hate us because we are free. We want to progress times to give equality based on the teachings of Jesus Christ to change a persons heart which will change the rest.

Islam wants to turn the time back to the seventh century, the dark ages where the love of Christ was not spread.

Most of all it goes back to the mandate of who owns the land known as Israel.

God mandated in the bible that Jacob would be renamed Israel and all the descendants of Abraham Issac and Jacob would forever own the wonderful land.

Through history people have hated the Jewish race for this and tried to exterminate them from history even going as far as to have all the maps changed and renamed Palestine after the dreaded enemy the Philistines of which Judah conquered.

May 14 1948 prophecy was fulfilled when Israel became a nation again.and the Second Exodus started when the Jewish children started to come home again.

There is untold riches in the area of the Dead Sea of mineral deposits and who knows of the untold riches buried from the Temple Mount.

Islam-Fascist only goal is to further the plans of Hitler and even before him To wipe out the chosen people of God and all those with them which I am proud to be.

To think that the ones who pulled off 911 was of our own choice is a terrible thought their intent was to prove their point and I applaud Pres.Bush for attacking back the way he did to prove that we will not just let our people be destroyed and I believe that this is truly the start of WORLD WAR III!

I pray that whichever candidate that is elected will have enough sense to know that a pullout know would be submitting to defeat for if they are not stopped now there will be another 911 or probably worse and all out attack.

I used to think that we were sister faiths but Islam is no sister of mine and all those who follow it need to wake up and realize who is in charge and the is the God Jehovah who sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and to save the ones who were lost which I was.

I still have my faults but I know that by accepting the Cross and the life saving blood of Jesus I have a mansion waiting for me in paradise.

The Muslim's path to salvation is to convert or kill those who don't convert and to die a martyr and they have virgins waiting on them.

Uh Michael, BUSH ATTACKED A COUNTRY THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11....The "people" that did, were mostly from Saudi Arabia, so why aren't we attacking them? BECAUSE OF OIL. We are putting democracy on a country that doesn't want it. We wouldn't want North Korea to come here and tell us what we should or shouldn't believe and do. It all goes back to respect others for their beliefs.

And there will not be another 9/11 simply because the perpetrators of the catastrophe will be out of office in a year.

and on the topic of Islam:

Islam means acceptance of and submission to God, and believers must demonstrate this by worshiping him, following his commands ( NO DIFFERENT THAN CHRISTIANITY) Sure there are radical Islamist that create chaos and murder but no different than the Christians that preach hate in the name of God and kill people in the name of God and the numerous wars fought in the name of Christianity. Islams believe in Angels and Prophets, no different than the Christians.

No religion is perfect and you can't tell me that the God they worship is any different than the one they worship. They translate the Bible the way they want to, and so do you.

The only beliefs I respect are the ones towards Jehova God and Jesus Christ not Allah or Ghadi or Hare Krishna for the bible says that by no other name is their salvation and that name is Jesus Christ.

More attacks are coming for it has all been pre-ordained.

Saddam should have bben taken out years and years ago the one in charge of Iran should be to before he goes to far.

The GOD Almighty of the Bible is the same GOD Almighty of Islam. But you say:

"their god is a moon god."

"their allah is a false god."

"yahweh is the real god."

and so on.....

I have heard these absurdities and false lies that were invented by some hateful modern missionaries of today many times on TV and in person. Their argument in a nutshell goes like this:

Regardless of what modern languages call GOD Almighty, the only valid title for GOD Almighty in any and all languages is Yahweh. People, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds and languages, must always refer to GOD Almighty as "Yahweh," even if the word itself is a Hebrew word which means The LORD or The Eternal.

The problem with this false lie and invention by these Christian deceivers is that their own New Testament refutes them! "Allah" in Arabic means "The GOD". There are even archeological discoveries of early Arabic Jews and Christians (centuries before Islam) using "Allah" as GOD Almighty's Holy "Name." Even today's Arabic Bibles refer to GOD Almighty as "Allah." (ex: john 1:1 and countless other verses) So not only these deceivers are contradicting history and their own Arabic Bibles, but they are also refuting their own scripture when one uses their own New Testament against them, because if the Hebrew word "Yahweh" is the fixed title for GOD Almighty in ANY and ALL LANGUAGES, then how come neither Jesus or his disciples throughout the entire New Testament ever addressed GOD Almighty as Yahweh?

GOD Almighty's "Names" are not really names or titles. They are Divine Attributes of GOD Almighty. So when Hebrew speakers call Him "Yahweh," they are calling Him the Eternal or the LORD. When Arabic speakers call Him "Allah," they are calling Him the GOD. GOD Almighty's Divine Attributes can most certainly be translated in all of GOD Almighty's created languages on earth. There is no blasphemy in that. On the contrary, the real blasphemers are the ones who insult GOD Almighty by saying that "Allah is a moon god."

and yes Evil Monkey, Michael is the worst kind of extremist. He pushes hate and anger, war and murder all in the name of God.

and Michael, do a little research, AMERICA itself, put Saddam into power to begin with. We armed Iraq and gave them the technology and the weaponry...do a little research on Donald Rumsfeld and George Sr.

and sure let's bomb Iran and while we are at it, let's just make a list of EVERY country that doesn't live like we do and bomb them too. Wouldn't that be so much fun????

AMEN Disturbia.. Don't you love when our "christian leaders" put these extremist into power, and suddenly 20 years later, try to take it away...

It's called "Blowback" and our CIA is FULL of it.. It essentially means, we reap the consequences of entangling ourselves in nations WHERE WE DON'T BELONG... deciding who should lead them [WHICH IS NOT A DEMOCRACY, IT IS TYRANNY] and then after they quit doing what we put them their to do, we make up false exaggerations and SEND OUR SOLDIERS TO DIE... Christianity is just as flawed of Islam, the only difference is, our leaders lie to create war, and don't participate, their leaders wage war for truth, and they actually participate...

Michael, it's easy for you and ANYone else to advocate an illegal war, or bombing and blowing up third world countries, but didn't your mama always teach you to pick on somebody your own size? In America we call ourselves the "greatest country on earth", yet the way we achieve that is by picking on inferior, incapable, and harmless nations... Again, I say not everyone knows what good is being done over there all because of the presence of our soldiers. The media doesn't tell you about all of that but I know first hand. Islam is a religion that believes they can sin on a cloudy day because the clouds are there and "their God" can't see them. They also believe that they can keep their women in distress by not letting them be seen by anyone. The only reason they have women is to bare children. There are more wife beaters over there than we can shake a stick at. They also believe that they can molest little boys and they do. They start them out as young as 7 and 8 years old having sex with them. They bleieve that when they die, they will have 27 virgins waiting for them in heaven. They don't mean women either, they mean little boys. My religion is nothing like theirs. This is what they do in their everyday lives. None of that is in our bible and not any of those things are acceptable behavior here, even though some people still do it. Where does the madness stop? We are not picking on anyone who hasn't picked on us first. They should not put themselves in a position to be attacked by us if they didn't know who they were attacking. The Associated Press reports the study, published on the website of the Centre for Public Integrity, concluded the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanised public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretences".

According to the study, 935 false statements were issued by the White House in the two years after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

In speeches, briefings and interviews, President Bush and other officials stated "unequivocally" on at least 532 occasions that Iraq had links to al-Qaeda, or had weapons of mass destruction or was trying to get them.

"It is now beyond dispute that Iraq did not possess any weapons of mass destruction or have meaningful ties to al-Qaeda," wrote the study's authors Charles Lewis and Mark Reading-Smith.

"In short, the Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003."

The study found that President Bush alone made 259 false statements -- 231 about weapons of mass destruction and 28 about Iraq's links to al-Qaeda.

The other officials named in the study are vice president Dick Cheney, then-national security advisor Condoleezza Rice, then-defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld, then-secretary of state Colin Powell, deputy defence secretary Paul Wolfowitz and White House spokesmen Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan.

"The cumulative effect of these false statements -- amplified by thousands of news stories and broadcasts -- was massive, with the media coverage creating an almost impenetrable din for several critical months in the run-up to war," the study concluded.

"Some journalists -- indeed, even some entire news organisations -- have since acknowledged that their coverage during those pre-war months was far too deferential and uncritical. These mea culpas notwithstanding, much of the wall-to-wall media coverage provided additional 'independent' validation of the Bush administration's false statements about Iraq."

Hmmmm.....what about all the young boys here that are molested from birth on up by family and friends of family in the UNITED STATES? I guess they(the molesters) are all of the Islamic faith, because a Christian would NEVER molest a child or murder anyone now would they? Also in Numbers If men make vows, then God expects them to keep them. But a woman cannot make a vow, unless it is "allowed" by her husband or father. If it is "allowed," then she must keep it -- but even so, she is not responsible (her husband or father is).

SO, NOT UNLIKE ISLAM, WOMEN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE A VOW WITHOUT PERMISSION

Three times a year all of the males are to appear before God. The females he never wants to see.

HUH..If you see a pretty woman among the captives and would like her for a wife, then just bring her home and "go in unto her." Later, if you decide you don't like her, you can "let her go."

Doesn't seem that the bible is too female friendly at all either....does it?

One needs to heed this warning when one speaks of "religion and violence" from a Christian perspective. -as part of religious duty or practice (the sacrificial system).

We need to make those people understand that it's not okay to do the things they do. (I said there was people over here who do the same, molest kids and beat their wives, and no, most of them are just mean, they have no religion.) But does that mean we want Isalmic believers over here so they can take over our country, because that is what they are trying to do. What all of you are failing to realize is the fact that they don't want to be like us, they want us to be like them. There is Islam religion in all of that region. So it doesn't matter where we are fighting whether it be in Saudi, Iraq, Iran, or Pakistan, we are against their religion and how they think they can come over here and start some crap with us. We don't go over there and do the stupid things they do like straping a bomb to someones car or take airplanes and dive into their buildings. All is fair in love and war and that's the way it will always be. You don't know who I voted for Darrick_04, so don't put words in my mouth.

There is no need for us to strap bombs to people and blow up cars, mosques, or even fly plains into buildings... B/c we have the great and mighty military that can do all that killing for us. You wouldn't want China attacking us, for something Russia did, it is the same philosophy. This war isn't based on RELIGION, it was based on WMD's, which our religion lied to us about!

Everyone needs to watch the video "Loose Change" as well, you should also rent "Why We Fight", "Sicko"... instead of watching movies about the known enemy, it is better to educate yourself about our supposed friends.

And we blow them up to make them be LIKE US..no difference. You just won't see it, they aren't over here preaching on the corners about Islam, they aren't blowing us up....we are over there killing 100's of thousands innocent men women and children and leaving devestation and refugees in our wake of destruction all in the name of wanting to make them like America. They don't want to be like us. But it's the same old story of America being the bully on the playground. People say "They are killing our servicemen/women..Well, so would I if another country was over here trying to change my country. The only terrorist I see are the radical christian fanatical terrorist that run our government and the ones that support it.

Keep watching the Government propaganda, I will stick with the TRUTH and logic. The propoganda perpetrated on us by the Government is no different than the Nazi propoganda that was put upon Germany. They make you all fearful of the "evil Iraqis" therefore you will support anything and everything they want to do over there. It's sad that most people think like jkelley does, because you people will be the downfall of our once great nation that will never be what she once was.

We all have our preferences when it comes to religion and personally I have no problem with what religion anyone is unless it is a forced religion. Islamic Muslim is a little more than religion though it is more of a culture, a way of life that they believe everyone should follow and if you don't you do not deserve to live.

I don't know about you but I prefer not to live in an Islamic Nation if I want to be Islamic Muslim I would move to the middle east or Africa.

The word "BELIEVE" and the Bush administration don't even belong in the same universe! And propaganda isn't truth, it is mere distortion of the truth in order to achieve a result, or affection, or emotion, in this case FEAR!

Devan, really.. is a total body count propaganda? How bout the trillions of dollars appropriated for "defense" while we neglect our own people... We have absolutely NO business being in Iraq, we have absolutely NO business to be denouncing one "religion" as inferior to ours, and no right to wage war on a TACTIC, known as terrorism. It is impossible to win, b/c unless we blow up the entire world, their will be no terrorist to worry about, not even ourselves... And, the only middle eastern nation capable of such a catastrophe is Israel, the larget recipient of U.S. money... which they use to build up their military. Does God's country really need weapons? Or has their means of peaceful negotiations left them? I wonder, honestly.. Who would Jesus Bomb?

I guess I am really astonished that you would suspend skepticism for something like "Loose Change" or someone like Michael Moore and yet not do the same for the Bible.

My point was, however, that both the Islam documentary referred to by jkelle y and the ones you refer to are propaganda pieces that take some kernels of truth and create something that doesn't resemble the truth at all. I refuse to buy into either, nor to Michael's version of Christianity.

Be astonished... When the Bible can produce hard facts and concrete evidence then perhaps I will adhere to its teachings.

I don't completely discredit the Bible, just the fact that it has been manipulated and twisted more times than I want to imagine.

I take "Sicko" and "Loose Change" with a grain of salt. Anyways, I assume you have watch the entire Loose Change documentary and the entire movie Sicko, both substantiated by evidence, otherwise known as proof. When buildings fall straight down, and another building that wasn't touched [building 7] collapses, and your eyebrow isn't raised, something is wrong. When all the world reports single out America as not having the best healthcare, you should be stunned. However, watching a movie about Islam, produced by a Christian group, shouldn't surprise you, at all.

I've read everybody's comments and the one that really gets me is Christians and Islams have the same God.Not true!My God is a God of love.My God doesn't want you to commit suicide by killing another.My God doesn't promise virgins when you die.This is totally different from Christianity.We believe in Jesus "Christ".The one that saves us from hell.He gives us new life.I am proud of all of these non-christians who are studying their bible.God does have a plan.So keep reading on and quoting scripture.Something will click.Then you will know the truth.Good job!

Actually, many of the people that you label "non Christians", really do believe in God, but we also know that Christianity has a very violent history...

And, still believing in God, every act of violence,etc has been allowed by God, you can't forget that.

Islam and Christian's don't call their god the same things, but in essence they serve the same purpose. I am not defending either one, just taking a neutral point of view.

Are Christians not promised riches and roads paved with gold, no more sickness, paradise, ever-lasting life etc etc? IF AND ONLY IF they follow the bible. Which is the most murderous violent book ever written. I do believe in God, I don't believe in a book. I don't even have the time or inclination to list the numerous atrocities committed in the bible and in the name of Jesus and God.

IMO "non christians" know more because we study more and get different points of view. We don't don't follow along like sheep just accepting what others say as the gospel.

Right. Proof? As in confiscated video taken by the FBI immediately after the attacks? The evidence taken from Ground Zero and no media allowed to videotape certain areas... How about the fact that there were NO PLANES, or even PARTS of planes found at the Pentagon and that field in Pennsylvania.

Let me assure you of one thing, Republicans like Bush can proclaim to protect us from terror, but wasn't under his reign that all this begin? And ever since then, our civil liberties have eroded, which begs the question, if you destory liberty to defend America, then WHAT are you defending?

However, this blog is about Islam, written by an obviously biased so-called Christian who doesn't even know how to explain why he believes certain Old Testament scriptures while disregarding the rest. It isn't me you need to convince, trust me. I am fully aware of who God is, and I am also fully aware that God is who your president worships and then does exactly what God wouldn't do...

How can you believe in God and not the bible.The bible tells you of God. How else would you know about him and to believe in him,and his son Jesus.Actually the comment about non-christians believe in God,I can agree with that.The devil and his demons believe there's a God.To follow God is a different story.A christian is one who believes in "Jesus"Christ.Not just God.You can't pick things out of the bible your going to believe.You have to believe it all.All of it is the truth.Not just the parts that sound good.Old testament is the history of how things came to be.New testament tells of the birth of Jesus and how we should live and things to come.Things changed in the old testament as the years went by.Like Moses recieved the ten commandments.That changed alot of the ways people lived back then.

I can believe in GOD and not in the bible simply because the bible is a man made book with several books left out of it. It has been changed numerous times and is no longer valid and the whole "You can't pick and choose thing" YEAH..tell Michael that, that is his specialty.

Did you know that the books were removed by some of the most viciously evil men in this world's history because it allowed them more power over their nation? Did you know that 65% of the dates that we celebrate as Christians are actually pagan gods birthdays?

Let's give God full access to place His Word upon our hearts.

The devil wants us to believe that 80% of "God's word" is missing, that is truly ridiculous... The devil wouldn't want to intrigue anyone to take it upon themselves to actually think... He does however, expect people to be content with the Bible as it is, and seek no further truths. Without a doubt there are writings out there that over time have been proclaimed as belonging to the canon of scripture but do not appear there today. Why? Because their claims to authenticity have been discredited. There may be a few that are still in dispute like the apocrypha but that is primarily a Catholic vs Protestant debate. The bottom line is that Darrick, and Evil Monkey, and Disturbia can believe whatever they want. I believe that their belief is unfounded and in contradiction to centuries of reliable scholarship traceable back to the original apostles. I think the brain washing and sheeple behavior is being tagged on the wrong side of this argument.

belief and fact are two totally different things. What I state is fact, while you state things on belief. Faith could be Fiction while fact is backed up with substantial evidence that I have laid out on numerous times. I believe what is missing out of this entire arguement on both sides is faith.

Faith according to Webster's dictionary is firm belief in something for which there is no proof. I have faith in a God, who as a father, who sent his only son, Jesus, to die for my sins. As a Christian I am not perfect, only forgiven and live under Grace, which is what the New Testament is about. Jesus promised his disciples he would leave a comforter behind, The Holy Spirit, to be with us everyday. Can I prove that God exist according to today's standards of intellectual thinking, most likely not, but that is exactly where faith comes in. I have a relationship with a heavenly father who loves me. Will that make my life perfect? In a simple word, no, but I have faith in a God that no matter what I do, no matter what I say, will always be there. I don't live under rules and regulations found in most religions. The difference between Christianity and any other religion is that Christianity is about a 2 way relationship, 3 way if you include other people in the picture. The bottom line is that it does not matter what specific church you attend, it matters do you have enough faith to believe it possible that God exists and if you do, do you want to have a relationship with him.

Very well spoken and honestly, it is in your heart, correct? It isn't about who told you, what you read, or how someone influenced you. It is about your heart, your mind and your conscience. I am with you on this 100%.

What if, you read even more about Jesus and found him even more interesting and miraculous, wouldn't you want to know more? The problem is alot of Christians discount the other books because it isn't what they were told to believe. They close their hearts and their mind and would rather preach fear and loathing. I find it disheartening and pitiful. I am glad you posted something uplifting and true.

Thank you for your comments. I would like to take one of your statements just a bit further. I think a good many Christians, while well intentioned, do not have a full understanding of why they believe what they believe. I love studying history, including the history of Christianity. I know that over the years people, in the name of God, have done things (i.e. the crusades, the Spanish inquisitions, more recentley the Catholic/Protestant fighting in Ireland) that I truely believe God would not condone. Preaching fear has not worked over history to make a person believe in God or increase that relationship and still does not work. I also have to have some faith that one of the ways I can know God better is by reading and studying the Bible myself. I do believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, not because of what a person told me, but because I believe in my heart and my head that it is true. That is where my faith comes in. I can't prove God exist, no more than someone can prove he does not exist. I see both sides of the issues here. I have learned fairly recently, through the study of our recent history, that many faith traditions have become dependant on knowledge (often becoming legalistic) or dependant on experience and/or emotions. Christians need to know and understand our traditions, our doctrines, and how that works with our scriptures. Most importantly I have to have faith (something I can't prove) that somewhere among all our diverse opinions that God exists and works in my life.

My biggest problem though, is that people like to pull out a scripture here and a scripture there, and ignore the entire chapter, JUST TO PREACH THEIR HATE! Why is that?

I mean if people like, say Michael, are going to preach against what he calls sins, then why does he feel inept to forgo the passages preceeding and following his condemnation scriptures?

I think it's a horrible imjustice to somehow pretend you know God's will and preach it as such, yet it is all [as Evil Monkey says] cut and paste.

Confused? Michael always speaks of ONE particular "sin" using a verse in the probably the second most debating book of the Bible, Leviticus. But if he wants to quote one, he needs to quote them all? I just hate is isolation of minorities, and acts as though his sin is on a more superior level, and it is automatically forgiven. Well, how in the world does he even know that what he accuses others of is even sin at all. You know there is rape, murder, genocide, war, attacks on faith, and everything else in the Bible, but the ONE thing he is concerned about is CONSENTING, LOVING human beings? He, lives the sad life, not those he accuses of following the path to hell!
