Today is the birthday of my daughters Tamara and Courtney who will turn 10 at 11:17 and 11:18 tonight.

Me and Melissa were never supposed to have children , but with prayer and intercession and the wonderful blessings and the grace of God we had them.

They have been raised on the Bible from day one and we are very proud of them.

I believe with all my heart they God has a great purpose for them.

I know that by having them around I have quit drinking, cussing and losing my temper , but they have a whole lot more to accomplish in life to glorify the Kingdom of God for their generation is their plan they have told me and that is the thing that makes me the proudest.

Not the kind of careers or financial or whatever.

My only requirement is that their dates be boys and Christian.

If not Christian then we will work on that.

That's great. I have twin cousins born in 1982, one weighed 14 ounces and the other 16. Premiees at only 28 weeks gestation, but they are strong, healthy and smart young women now.

Happy Birthday!!

Wow, Michael. Those girls have grown so much since you brought them to the "Pen" some 8 years ago. My, how time flies. They're beautiful young ladies now. You and Missy have rights to be proud.

While parents should be a blessing to their children, there is no doubt that they return that blessing to the parents. Beautiful kids Michael & Melissa.

Its nice to know that some kids are still raised in a christian home, you should be proud. I hope your girls do amazing things for the kingdom of God, and I hope there lives are blessed.

They look like two very strong, shrewd and loving girls-the kind with real beauty inside and out.

With all that pizazz,a caring home and the Lord in their lives, there's no telling what they can accomplish now and as grown women.

Courtney and Tamara, you've blessed this world for ten years.

May each decade to come bring you more joy.
