This is one of my favorite songs of the new age worship music.
I finally set and done the research on the words and was blown away here is what I discovered. Days of Restoration "These are the days of Elijah declaring the word of the Lord. And these are the days of your servant Moses, righteousness being restored. In Acts 3 we see that Peter addressed the men of Israel to repent so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Repent in the Hebrew means to turn or even better to return. In essence, Peter was telling people who should have known better- they had the Word, the heritage and traditions- and yet they needed to return so that times of refreshing could come. We all have wandered off of the one true path and to get the refreshing promised we need to get back on that path , the path to God through his Son Jesus Christ. One body one mind and one accord. ZEPH3:9 For then I will restore to the people a pure language that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one accord. Hos 6:1-2 Come let us return to the Lord; for he has torn , but he will heal us;He has stricken , but he will bind us up. After two days He will revive us;on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in his sight. My friends we are in that third day we as followers of Jesus , the only begotten Son of God need to return to our childlike faith and put our trust in him. We need to suit up in the heavenly Armour and take our sword of truth{THE BIBLE]and reclaim this land for the Lord. Declaring the Word of the Lord Elijah came to all people and said."How long will you falter between the two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him;but if Baal, follow him.[1Kings 18:12] For all you bible readers you know the story Elijah with boldness called out the other God of Israel and proved him false and then slaughtered them. Turning the hearts of the children. We as Judeo Christian parents need to take back our children and teach them that the BIBLE is God's word no matter what public education tells them. By man's law we may have to tolerate other religions but we don't have to accept them or give into them. Most Christian's set back in the pews and remain silent while Islam and other false beliefs take over. What is worse than that is people who say they are believers of the Christian faith are pushing for all kind of Ungodly things which from my past posts you should know them by now. We need to rise up with the boldness of Elijah and stand our ground so that we won't be wiped out! Prepare the Way. Elijah had come and gone, John the Baptist came in the "Spirit of Elijah". It is our job and duty and a command of God get the people ready for the "SECOND COMING" of the Messiah. John did not act like or look like what they expected and I am sure I or anybody else will be looked at funny. Before Restoration can be realized, through repentance and a willingness to return to the "ancient paths"[Jer 18:15] So in closing I will leave you one thought:IF the Spirit of Elijah is present, then the spirit of his nemesis is as well. That would be Jezebel and according to scripture, Jezebel lived in the "white house.{1Ki. 22 :39] Before the restoration will come there will be famine, trial and tribulations. So heed these thought and consider what this election could bring though it is prophesied to happen, people just need to be ready. Pastor Mike! After reading your post.
I come away with this thought.It's hard to reach people,because all they see is a house divided against itself.Their are so many different denominations and they all claim to be right.
WE need to get back to the basics.That is being born again by the water and spirit.Defining what that is to them.Quit always telling them,well you're gonna have stop doing this or that when you get saved.Get them saved first, let the word and the Holy Spirit clean them up ,just like he's doing with the rest of us.We have to work out our own salvation day by day.
If the denominations would quit bickkering amoung themselves and join hands to get people saved and not worry about who has the bigger church,Jesus' work would get done a lot quicker.
Their are a lot of people that just can't decide which church to attend. I know because i was one of them. I got into a church.Though i still have all the worlds problems to fight now, their trying to add all these church rules and regulatinos on top of that.I feel more in bondage now than before i got saved,it shouldn't be like that.These people are so uptight they can't be confortable around each other.Church should be a happy place to go.So let's quit worring about trying to make them perfect and make them children of GOD.And let God make them what he wants them to be.We are born into one body we can't get anything done going our seperate ways.We are the body of Christ not just the preachers its up to us to stop the divisions and do the work of GOD.

You don't need to give a person a permanent exemption from using good sense to take them where they are and work up to the big stuff when they're able to handle it-in GOD'S time.
You don't give them a bunch of distractions,either.
The Bible uses a clever analogy of a baby getting milk while a grown-up gets meat.
Give an infant regular foods too soon and they may always make him ill.
Give an older child nothing but pablum and he'll be bored and starving.
We give the person the spiritual food as they can tolerate it (and we get them drooling by seeing how well-satisfied we get from more substantial fare.)
If we tell the young believer that the doctrinal equivalents of fruit and vegetables are something he has to tolerate for his health's sake (and he can't expect it to taste good like the Devil's junk food) then we can't be surprised if he gets malnourished.
If he sees that God offers a free and wholesome banquet while the enemy makes him pay a high price for tasteless empty calories,then he'll feed his soul at the Lord's table and get the Biblical nutrients he needs to grow.
But let his first meals be small and easy to digest.
Otherwise,what we force down his throat may make him too queasy to come back for more.

I am sure I am too advanced for most of you because you are still being fed baby food or milk and there is nothing wrong with this. It is necessary to begin learning God's word, but when you receive the Holy Ghost, you must move on to mature feedings, like feeding yourselves. Teach others what you know so you will learn more.
Maybe I should only be talking the Pasters, Ministers and Preachers about what is hidden in the Bible. They are teaching many Lies, that are NOT in the Bible becasue they don't want to upset their congregations. How "Righteous" is this? They are feeding their congregation Baby Food that isn't even biblically correct. How can anyone grow in Jesus when they are learning things that are not true.
EXAMPLE:
Every Sunday, Sunday after Sunday, after Sunday, after Sunday, Preahers, Pastors, Ministers, etc., teach that you must come up to the Altar Call and be saved by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and confess your sins or you will burn in Hell for an eternity.
HOWEVER:
Have you ever heard a preacher at a funeral service say that the loved who died and who never came up to the Altar to ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus...was called home to be with the devil?
No! He or she is always taken or called home to heaven by God to be with the Lord. God doesn't take peoples' lives, not does He tempt anyone nor can he be tempted. Satan has the power of Death!
Yes! Satan is the killer. He is the god of this world, so he determines who he will kill this week or next week. Satan takes the life of our loved ones, in hope that we will blame God and Curse Him (God) for taking our loved one from us when it was actually satan who did it.
Why?
Why would a preacher say that God took them to be with Him in heaven when no ones goes to heaven when they die?
Why would a pastor say they have gone "Home" to be with the Lord, when we came from the dust of the earth, not heaven? Our "Home is in the earth not heaven.
Why would a minister tell us that God Took their Life when Satan is the one with the power of Death.
Why would the Religious Leaders tell us that people who die are living in Heaven or a paradise in heaven, when the bible tells us that no one goes to heaven until after the second death, when the New Heaven is created?
Is there not a preacher alive today that can read the truth and reveal it as it is written? Am I the only one who is mature enough in my knowledge to stand up to the Pharasees and Scribes of today and demand answers?
Drink your milk and eat your baby food, but don't tarry too long! Soon All Religious literature will be replaced with a one world religion by the False Prophet. You won't find any truth in their literature.
I don't want to confuse the beginners, but you who are seasoned.... start reading the truth for yourself!
You will find my proof in the achieves and in the Bible.

I enjoy your expostions however I would be wary of the sin of pride. You may not be the only one here or elsewhere that has partaken of the meat of the scriptures.
You are right, devan. God hates some one who is proud. Thank you for the reminder.
devan told it like it is! He warned me of my pride. What I did is the same reason Aaron and Moses were not allowed into the promise land. I got cocky and bragged like the knowledge I had was my own. It is not. My Knowledge came from the Holy Ghost not me. I boasted with Pride, I apologize for ruining yours' and Pastor Michaels' Blogs with my expositions.
I was taught that Moses couldn't go into the Promise Land becasued he killed the egyptian guard when you was trying to free the jews. That isn't the truth!
Numbers 20:1-11
When Moses led the people out in the wilderness they ran out of water and the people came crying to Moses and Aaron that they were led out in the wilderness to die. God told Aaron and Moses to assemble all the people and in front of them, speak to the rock and it will provide all the water they needed for themselves and their livestock.
"Listen your rebels!" Moses shouted."Must we bring you water from this rock?" Then Moses struck the rock twice with the staff and the water gushed out.
Numbers 20:12
12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust me enough to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them!"
Moses and Aaron were not allowed to go into the Promise Land because Moses got cocky and acted like He and Aaron was supplying the water not God.
We have to leave our Pride behind us.

I get fired up sometimes when I am discussing the word of God. The bible is very exciting, or it can be when you understand it. I can get carried away sometimes and may have to be called down. I am not perfect by any means.

I watched the Perry Stone show Sunday after JVI Ministries and thought he was inspiring. I have heard him before and think he gives a good sermon. I imagine you use some of his teachings in your sermons, and blogs.
It is my understanding that Elijah is one of the two prophets that will return in the end times to Jerusalem to witness and are stoned by the people and their bodies left on the street for the people to spit on. So when we see Elijah, well, we better fall to our knees and pray harder than we have ever prayed because the end is on us. At this time the Fasle Prophet will be here along with the beast and the anti-christ.
The world is waiting for Israel to win the Holy Temple back in Palistine in a war of some kind so they can rebuild the original Holy Temple in Jerusalem again.
It has always been my belief that the Bible is talking about rebuilding the Holy Temple in the hearts, Mind, Body and Soul of the Jews, not the buiding itself. Just as Jesus said, "destroy the temple and I will rebuild it in three days." Jesus was not speaking of the building, but the body of Christ, just like the bible is talking about. When the jews renew the temple of God withing them, then will God enter and they will have Gods' kingdom within them again. They will have rebuilt the Holy Temple that won't be destroyed again.
You must know what to look for in the last days or it will be on you before you know it is here. God has hidden the truth from the wise and prudent and revealed it unto babes.

The famine is here today mainly in the smaller countries but it is here also. With the economy like it is I don't think we will pull out of it this time until the anti-christ does his magic. He comes first and is already here. He is the one with the power of death.
Trial and Tribulations! Didn't everyone say that happens after the Rapture? God's people will miss the Trial and Tribulations?
I believe you just quoted just before that, "Before Restoration can be realized, through repentance and a willingness to return to the "ancient paths"",...meaning "restoration" is the repentance and a willingness to return to the "ancient paths".
So if restoration doesn't come until after the Trial and Tribulations, how are the people who are going to repent, get in the Rapture, when the rapture happens before the famine, Trial and Tribulations, and the repenting and willingness to return to God (restoration) comes after the Famine, Trial and Tribulations?
If no one repents until after the Famine, Trials and Tribulations, and all the churches teach that the Rapture happens before the Trial and trbulations, how will they get in the Rapture it they don't repent until after the Famine, Trial and Tribulations?
One thing is for sure! Everything mentioned in the Bible WILL happen becaused it is prophesied to happen. All we can do is learn the truth so we won't be caught off guard. If you don't know the good guy from the bad guy, what are you gonna do???
People are doing all kinds of sinful things, but the bible predicts that in the last days. The world is going nuts, but the bible predicts that. Anti-christs are in the world deceiving people everyday, but the bible predicts that too. All these things are meant to happen so let then happen and stay away from them. Don't get involved in the sins of the world. Satan is the god of this world so it will be full of sin. That is why Christ is returning. We have to let the beast take over. He was suppose to rule for 7 years, but he confesses that he is God, so Christ returns 3 1/2 years earlier to destroy the beast.
All you can do is let it play out and keep your hands clean, and spread the word.

I do watch Perry Stone like some people watch Nascar or football.
I have several of his books and other resources of his.
I watch his show then do in depth research on the subject I also watch Jack Van Impe and John Hagee.
I do believe people will be saved during the tribulation though they will be martyred.
Whether I go in the pre trib rapture or I get martyred for my faith I am ready to go.
I truly believe that we are in the pre-trib era.
If the rapture is pre trib then it could happen at any time.
No matter how much we pray the bible will fulfill itself to the letter.
I believe the two witnesses will be Elijah and Enoch one for the Jews and one for the Gentiles[ for before Abraham they were all Gentiles]Those two never died.
Rev. says that there is a great multitude who "comes out of the great tribulation"
I suppose you could take that as before or during what is your thought?
I am going to see Perry Stone in Pulaski in Sept. or Oct.
Maybe we could all get acquainted and go together as a group?

I have to question your theory on the Gentiles and Jews.
You are saying that there weren't any Jews until Abraham became the father of the Patriarchs.
It was Abrahams' grandson Jacob who was given the name change to Israel, but that was so his descendents would be the nation of Israel not the beginning of Jews.
If Abraham was the first Jew, what was his father? Abraham descended from Adam through Shems' bloodline after the Flood.
Shem came from Adams' bloodline, so Adam had to be Jewish also. Adams' Jewish bloodline filtered all the way down to Joseph, Jesus' earthly father. Adams' bloodline down to Mary (Jesus' mother) changed over to the Levi Bloodline with King David's descendents, but staying in the Jewish family.
So we see that Jesus is a Jew by Joseph and Marys' bloodlines. Jesus would not have looked like a Gentile with Jewish parents.
Jesus said, "if you have seen me, you have seen my Father." Jesus also said, "If you know me, you know my Father." So, if Jesus was a Jew, then God, His Father, is a Jew also, because Jesus IS GOD!
Jesus would not have been born something He wasn't. Since Jesus was born a Jew here on earth, His Father in heaven is a Jew also, because Jesus came from His Father in heaven not from Joseph!
Now we see that if God is a Jew also, then Adam had to be a Jew because God made man in His image.
We can't assume that Cains' descendents were Gentiles because he was sent out of Eden to Nod and was a sinner for murdering his brother Abel. The bible tells us that the Gentiles never knew God, so that sounds like it might apply, only Cain came from his father Adam who was a jew, making Cain a Jew also.
The Gentiles came from men who married and moved to other locations to raise their families. These families became different Nations with different languages, looks and skin tones and those who didn't hear or know about God where considered Gentiles.
Enoch was Noahs' Great Grandfather. He was the in the sixth generation from Adam. This makes Enoch a Jewish descendent also, not a Gentile. (Meet some of the guys in the Bible at: http://www.unique-lies.com/Adam-Christ.h...
Enoch was very Righteous. He talked to God everyday and God took him. Therefore Enoch could not be a Gentile, but a righteous Jew.
As for the rapture, I believe the rapture doesn't occur until Christ is on His way back to earth in His second comming. That is when they are caught up in the air to meet Christ. When Christ returns the Beast will have already had done his killing and torturing because he is claimimg to be God. That will be the great tribulation where everyone must save their life or lose it for Christs' sake. This is where the great multitude who "comes out of the great tribulation" comes from. They are the people who have died for believing in Christ and God.
These souls will be going to heaven but not yet. They are put in suspended animation (Sleep) until the first resurrection where they become Priests of Christ and God and reign with Christ for a thousand years.
The next Tribulation comes when Christ returns. Christ brings angels with tumpets, seals and bowls with plagues to torment and torture sinners. Christians are still alive on earth at this time because Christ only slays the wicked sinners and not the righteous.
The righteous people will remain alive on this earth. This is what the Jehovah Witnesses are speaking of when they say they are the chosen ones and will never die. These people who remain alive will actually witness the dead being resurrected by Christ. The first souls to be raised are the people who have been persecuted and prosecuted for believing in Christ and God. They were killed in the Great Tribulation for not worshipping the beast along with the people of all nations who have been killed for Christ. No one else is alive on earth at this time.
All of these souls make up the souls in the first Resurrection. They reign with Christ for 1,000 years then the rest of the dead are resurrected.
As a buddhist I don't read the bible much, but can you point out where it says anything about the rapture? Also you do realize people have been talking about this for a long time with the same conviction and well as the evidence is clear it just doesn't happen. Also can you actually point out a prediction that did come true. Something like this as an example. In the year 750 when the Indian yogi-saint Padmesambhva came to Tibet and brought Buddhist teachings he said "One day when the iron bird flies and the horseless carriage runs along the earth, the Tibetens will be scattered like ants across the world and the Dharma will be brought to the land of the Red man"
This prediction was a little more than wild speculation and wishful thinking, thanks...........H
To be Jewish is a lifestyle.
The first mention of Gentiles comes in Genesis 10 v 5 out of the sons of JAPETH.
God is a Spirit therefore ho does not have no body , but this is one of the mysteries that we could debate all day.
If we were all created in God's image then we would be Jewish ,right?
The defenition of Gentile in Hebrew is a forgien nation or heathen.
In the Greek it is a race of the sdame habit.
Research has said that the Hebrew name came from Eber a ancestor of Abraham.
Jewish means to be a descendant of Judah.
Whichever one of us is right or wrong , our salvation is not based on it.
I am not going to be too concerned if Elijah and Enoch are Jew or Gentile or even a little of both when I finally see them. I look ahead to both of them and see them coming.
Some say that the first chapter of Genesis is the creation of the nations and the second chapter is the creation of the Jewish race.
Dr. Murray of the Shepperd's chapel teaches this ,along with the "serpent seed doctrine"
A William Branham also taught this back in the 40'S and 50'S.
The basic thought is that the sin in the garden was Eve having sex with the devil "or some creation of his"
This produced Cain and therefore Satan has a bloodline to.
According the the Strong's "Kenites" means "sons of Cain" which are after the flood.
They polluted the priesthood and were the ones yelling "crucify him " at the cross.
There are a million theories that Man has on certain passages in the bible.

CHRIST AROSE!

I have explained the Rapture several times in these blogs. Although the word Rapture doesn't exist in the bible, there are scriptures that explain the living and dead souls being caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17; Jude 1:14-15). That is what is described as being the Rapture!
It does actually exist but not the way people have been taught.
I'm sorry but they will be disappointed when it happens and they are still here waiting for Christ to take them.
You see, as Christ is returning (Rev 14:1-5) these 144,000 (Rev 7:1-8) jewish, male, virgins are caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus as He is returning. We will see Jesus coming because He descends the same way he ascended. Since these 144,000 Jews return with him we will see them as they meet Him in the clouds.
--> We find that the Rapture consists of:
1. There were 144,000 Jewish Men
2. Who were not defiled by women
3. They are virgins
4. They follow the Lamb whitersoever he goeth.
5. These were redeemed from among men (Not resurrected but redeemed or caught up in the air)
6. They are first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
7. And in their mouth was found no guile; for they are without fault before the throne of God.
These people who are caught up in the air (referred to as the rapture), return with Christ as warriors who will slay the wicked, the evil, people who worship other gods, Kings of the earth and their amries (Our children/parents/relatives) and sinners of all kinds.
Two will be in the field, one will be taken the other left, meaning one will be slain and the other left alive. These two will only know that Christ has returned to take them home and Wham! Christ or His 144,000 slays one and leaves the righteous one alive.
The rapture is over when Christs' feet touch the earth. If you are standing there watching you better hope you are righteous in His eyes. It is not going to be fun and lovey dovey! It is going to be the worst slaughter ever performed on earth. Christ is coming not to wipe away the tears, but to wipe away the sinners and non believers, then His righteous will be left standing with Him.
Believe it! The RAPTURE DOES happen under a different name, but it happens. It will be Horrific and bloody, but we have been warned ever since Christ died and rose again.

My God has hidden the truth from the world so most things in the bible can neither be proven it did happen nor it didn't happen. That in itself is a miracle because we couldn't do that.
I finish with: God hates all fortune teller, mediums, Psychic, witches and magicians and will destroy them when He returns. They will not go in the kingdom of heaven. These people deal with demons, not our loved ones. The devils angels may tell them predictions about the future that may be true, however, satan is the father of the lie, so he may be telling they the truth or he may not be. Most predictions haven't come true, no matter who told them, but doesn't mean the evil forces won't tell the truth now and then.
Keep in mind that the devil and his angels will lead you into sin and crime, then they will turn you in for doing the crime. That is why they are just plain evil.
Will your buddhist god protect you from the anti-christ and the Beast? Will your religion be included as an obsolete religion when the one world false religion comes? Will your god protect you when Christ returns with the 144,000 saints? My God will protect me!

If the first mention of Gentiles comes in Genesis 10:5 out of the sons of Japheth why would you say everyone was a gentile before Abraham. Shem and Ham were Japheths' brothers and would have been jews if not Gentiles.
God is very, very specific about the jews being His people even thou they turned on Him several times. They even split after they were in the promise land. Some still believed in God, others turned pagon. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I believe it was Judah who stayed with our christian God. Shem and Judah are in Adams bloodline down to Christ so they would be Chrsitian Jews. Anyone else would be Gentiles if they didn't Know or believe in God. If the knew God and didn't believe, they would just be pagons.
No Michael, we wouldn't all be jews because we come from other countries and backgrounds making us Gentiles, right? God created a bloodline which were jews and everyone else were gentiles. God stayed with His jewish bloodline and nurished them in the old testament but didn't do much for anyone else. They too needed a god so they invented a god since they didn't know God.
Being created in God's image and being a jew would be like saying there are no women, unless God's image was a woman, then there would be no men! As we are born and go our seperate ways we become gentiles. Now of course, the gentiles are born Gentiles and not jews.
I agree with you that it doesn't really matter that much and it can be argued for centuries more without solving anything. I was just going backwards from Jesus, the finished product, being a 100% jewish boy of jewish parents, back to Adam, would make Adam, His ancestor, a jew.
As far a Dr. Murry of the Sheppard chapel goes, I have heard him and he comes up with things that are not in my bible so I can't prove him right. If my bible equips me with all the tools I need to prove or disprove what people are teahing, then I have to say he is full of it. You may believ him because he reads from a hebrew/greek bible. Those bibles do not apply to this Gentile christian.
When God told Noah to build the ark it was described a couple times and when god told Moses to build the Ark of the covenent, it was repeated a couple times along with the other things he was to make. Revelation is like an outline, then it goes back and describe the same thing all over again with more details. This is what the first two chapters are about. God tells us what He created and then He goes back and reminds us what He did before He goes on.
God did not create two Adams and/or two Eves like Dr. Murry teaches. That would be confessing to us that God knew it was not a good plan and if He did, why would the good Adam and Eve sin? Makes no sense at all does it, Michael?
Dr. Murry believes we were Dragons and Dinosaurs in another life and reincarinated as who we are today. That is anti-christ thinking. we are Resurrected not reincarinated. We come back as who we are today to be tempted by satan again, face trials and tribulations and final judgement. We then go to heaven, the new earth or the Lake of Fire. We won't be coming back as angels nor anything or anyone else. Jesus wasn't raised as a horse or cow was he? No He came back to life, right here on earth, in the fresh and blood as Jesus.
As for the seed of satan, I will not degrade Eve by saying she had sex with satan. Mary didn't have sex with the angel who pregnated her. Satan, being an angel, possibly put his seed inside Eve to produce Cain, because God put hatred between satans' seed and the womans' seed. I can accept that cain came from satan's bloodline throu this miracle pregnancy. Not a proven fact to me but willing to accept it could have been.

Elijah and Enoch, if this is the two prophets spoken of, won't appear until after the anti-christ and the beast are on the earth ruling. You as well as I and many others may or may not be alive to witness it. It won't be a pretty sight. They will have to power to make it stop raining and can destroy anyone who bothers them with fire. They will prophesy about God returning and the people will hate them and make fun of them, much worst than these blogs, and will throw stones at them until they are dead. They will lay in the street for 3 days then a voice will tell them to rise and come up here. Then the people will know they were from God. Those who are alive at that time, will see it happening live on TV if not in person. Knowing how the news media is they will probably throw the first stone and start the geering and booing.

Right again. Our nationality, color and creed comes from the land we are born in or we live in. Our body mind an soul belongs to God. Nothing was created that wasn't created by God, so yes, he creaed our body mind and soul.
Murry has some wild ideas and he has a right to them, but like I say, my bible can't prove what he teaches so....I can't tell him what to teach his listeners.
My bible says that Eve is the mother of all living, so that proves that Mr. Murry's sermon about a second Adam and Eve creation is wrong! He also teaches about the trials and tribulations only lasting about 10 days. My bible says 1260 days, or 42 months or 3 1/2 years.
His Hebrew and Greek Bibles are not the same as my Kjv. He will be judged according to what he teaches just like me and the expositions I tell about.
And all the other Preachers, pasters, ministers, etc. will be held responible for what they teach, because the true word is right there in the bible.
And anyone who does not read his word when it is available to them, well, that is bewteen their god and my God. I have nothing to do with it.
Here Mike I'll make a prediction and this is very basic, you were born, went to school, work, preach, will grow old, get sick, and die, all before ever seeing any rapture and the return. On another note, the Buddha is not a god, but the Enlightened One that can show a pathway out of this realm of suffering. Unlike all the condemnations going on here there is no one that can say with certainty what will happen to anyone else when you die. I hear alot of what people think god thinks and wants but very little objective proof. I do see some timeless wisdom that are universal and good human truisms. Something like the saying about becareful about how you judge others.....but as a beleiver in the doctrine of cause & effect (Karma) I am in harmony with this and the very cryptic also, bread cast upon the waters............H

Does your budhist religion explain what happens to you when you die and where you go and what you do. Does it explain how long you will be there and why. Do you have a heaven or hell? I don't read anything about budhist religion so I don't know how well your Enlightened One informs you of what lies ahead in the after death. What is his plans for you in the after life?
Just curious because my God has revealed to me what happens according to our religion.

My kjv lets me understand the important things, so I stick with it. I have heard that the KJv has been changed, interpreted wrongly, books removed and all kinds of things yet it is complete.

Even the King James version explains that some original words were in hebrew and mean!!!

You have to remember that the Buddha taught about Karma 500 years before Jesus if you are stating that he was the 1st in the Judeo-Chris. tradition to teach it.
To you Unique-Lies yes, of course it teaches there is a afterlife. The life you have now is a definite afterlife from your previous one. Your next will be determined on mostly what you do now through your body, speech & mind. But there is also karmic actions that where done in the distant past that will also come into play. We can see this now in our ordinary lives in a sense of how actions done even decades ago are still reverberating presently. Again the "Buddha" is only a term in Sanskrit meaning Awoke. That's why in some sutras he is called the Awakened One. He awoke from the self deluded ignorance dream that we are all effected by. And what is that? We are all holding a illogical, irrational self cherishing veiw point that covers up what is our true state of being. He is not a god, he doesn't have any plans for me, his only motivation is the compassion to help end my suffering by showing the path to final peace. As a free agent it's my choice to practice the 6 paramitas and gain my own liberation and then help others. Any other motivation would be tainted with wordly desires. I think it's best to first know yourself before trying to talk others into something that we might on a outside chance might not have it quite right. I'm not just speaking about you guys here, I've also seen it in my Buddhist circles also, it's just the human condition. Any veiw that is tainted because it's not complete unattached enlightenment is partial and stained with the 3 poisons of ignorence, anger, & desire, the real enemies within...........H

Here's how I was taught the Jew/Gentile thing.
In the good old days,everyone knew God.
Not just as a concept or a Deity-as a person.
Their not knowing Him would be like our not knowing the Patriarch that sat at the head of the dinner table.
Finally,we had grown so numerous and so distant from Him,that He made a covenant with those who chose to remain in His Family.
Those who wanted to love Him became Jews.
The rest became Gentiles.
As time went on,the less obedient Jews became apostates and gave up their birthright.
The smarter Gentiles converted and became one with God's people.
After a few centuries,the people who loved God had a reputation for wisdom,ethical behavior and being disliked by unsavory people.
Gentiles were renown for living according to their whims and worshiping pert near everything but their Creator.
It's not surprising that the Jews weren't in any hurry to upgrade a contract that had worked for generations.
Nor is it hard to understand why their default assumption would be that anyone the Gentiles chose to believe in would have to be as much of a real Messiah as Bart Simpson.
Christ's offer of a new covenant available to all people negated the division that had evolved between those who embraced God's truth and those who didn't.
Now,it wouldn't be sufficient not to reject Jesus' gift of salvation.
Each person would have to devote himself to God fully and of his own free will.
Fear,resentment and disdain would stand between those loyal to the old covenant and those embracing the new until it was recognized that the people born into God's house and those adopted into it were both His creation,were both capable of loving Him and living by His commands and rejecting either faction was showing contempt for a spiritual kinsman and a current comrade-in-arms.

As I understand it karma and sowing and reaping are basically the same thing.The earliest I found any mention of sowing and reaping in the Bible is in JOB 4:8 dated 1520 B.C. (?).
The name christian wasn't used until the new testament. Adam and Eve were just "God's people".
Well could you explain a few passages from the bible to me then? Genesis 1:26-28 So God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." This happened on the 6th day. Then if you skip on over to Genesis 2:21-23 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then he took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of Man this one was taken." So please let me know where the other female was when all of this was happening? Because I would REALLY like to know.

In Genesis 1:26-28
Moses, who wrote Genesis, explains how God created man and woman and gave them dominion over all.
-> Before you go to Genesis 2:21-23 finish chapter 1. Moses also mentions the herbs, trees, beasts, fowl and everything that creepeth upon the earth that was created by God by the evening of the 6th day.
(Genesis 1:29-31) 29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
->> Now in Genesis 2, Moses goes over all the things that God created in the first 6 days, but goes into more detail. These are the generations of the creative days.
Moses explains heaven and earth were created on the first day, then every plant before it every grew in the earth, and every herb before it was ever grown. It had never rained on earth before. Everything was watered by the mist coming up out of the ground. It never rained on earth until the Flood came in Noah's day.
God then created Adam out of the dust of the ground. He then planted the Garden of Eden and placed Adam in the Graden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
In verse 18, God decides Adam needs a help mate, so God creates every beast of the field, every fowl of the air and brought them to Adam to name.
Then in Genesis 2:21 God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam. He then creates the woman in verse 22.
->>> As you should be able to see now, God had created all these things, NOT JUST ADAM AND EVE, in the first chapter. Everything was created in the first 6 days then Moses rehashed all of it in Genesis 2:1-25 adding more detail.

That should explain why the confusion of a second Adam and Eve is merely a misunderstanding of what Moses was telling eveyone. Everything was renamed as being created in Genesis 2, when nothing was recreated only rementioned.

It says that he took Adam and put him in the Garden of Eden it did not say he took them it said him. But God made Male and Female. Why didn't he put THEM in the garden of Eden and not just HIM?

I chapter one, Moses lists the things that God created in the 6 days.
In chapter 2 Moses explains when and the order that God created these things.
In other verses of the Bible it says that God created everything. That doesn' mean that God created everything all over again. It is just reminding us that God created everything on and in the earth just like Moses is doing in chapter 2.
In Genesis 2:15-17 Moses explains that God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."
So Here God hasn't created the woman yet from Adams rib. However in Genesis 2:19-20 Moses describes the animals, birds and livestock but still no woman is created.
19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
>> Finally in verses 21 and 22 Moses tells us that God causes Adam to sleep so He can remove a rib from Adam and create the woman for Adam.
21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh.
