One I Will Not Go See!

Seems as if there is a Islamic version of Jesus coming out!
A Iranian director named Nader Talebzadeh has depicted the man I and over 2 billion Christians believe to be the Son of God.[He is!] In this movie Jesus is portrayed as a tormented Judean prophet foretelling the coming of Muhammad, the founder of the Muslim faith[yeah right!] The film ten years in the making is taken from the putative Gospel of Barnabas which was written during medieval times. The storyline states the Jesus was compassionate, which he was, and performed miracles, which he did , but was Not Crucified or resurrected from the dead , which would make our faith null and void. What a crock! The whole reason for this movie [in my eyes] is to try to prove to over 2 billion Christians that our beliefs are based on a falsehood. To the casual Christians and readers of the word , it might work, not with me! This director also claims that the 911 attacks were partly a conspiracy by our own government. Some of the people who read my blogs think the same thing. How lame! Brothers and Sisters hold fast in the faith and advise any body you know about this , and for Christ sake don't let your kids see it as impressionable as kids are! I don't think we'd be getting this film anyway.
It's more apt to show up on a college campus or art house than in a family cineplex or local picture show.
I expect most of us will watch THE KITE RUNNER,THE DIVING BELL AND THE BUTTERFLY or STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE before getting around to seeing that film in a theatre or on DVD.
They're more apt to get buzz from a ban than from box office word of mouth or critical acclaim.
Don't we as Christians spend our time trying to prove that the beliefs of Islam are false? Don't get me wrong, I totally disbelieve in Islam and what it stands for but in the same breath, to act as though we don't try and silence them also is a bit naive too.
What makes our actions any better than theirs . . . other than the fact we believe in the true word of God but I am sure they feel the same way about their beliefs?

To figure out whether something is true story-telling or offensive propaganda,ask how it would feel if the situations were reversed.
I remember how hideous it was to see an Asian claymation short that showed a very Aryan-looking U.S. soldier terrorizing a family.
(Sorry,I don't remember if this were from WWII,the Korean conflict or Viet Nam.)
The worst part was thinking how similar that film was to the Popeye cartoons I grew up watching.
While I saw atheistic Russians as villains,were they seeing the Christians of the West as superstitious oppressors enslaving sheeple for robber barons?
Stereotypes and propaganda work by convincing us that the other fellow isn't subject to the same feelings and considerations we are.
They permit us to have a groupthink that doesn't judge people as individuals.
If we decide that the other side is only as good or bad as its members,then we have to examine what our conduct says about the groups to which we belong.
If a Muslim can be a sincere advocate of his faith (as opposed to a primitive terrorist),then he becomes someone we convince with information and the impression we make with our character.
If we see him as a joke or irredeemable monster,then he and his world are nothing more than toxic waste to be destroyed.
We need to take a high ground and treat others as we would be treated.
We don't have to condone or endorse their mistakes nor do we have to expect that they will be as noble in return.
But,if we are in the right,let us set the higher standard and challenge our opponents to see how high they can elevate the world instead of competing to see who can bring it down the fastest.
What will create the most followers-talk about God or living for God?

Excuse me, but I believe that the majority of men and women who are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and other places that are are protecting you from terrorists are from the generation you just put down in your comment Jesse. They are fighting the war that your generation has created.

Killing your own nationality because they believe differently is contrary to principles I believe. God created freedom when he gave us a choice. Man wants to take it away. A believer lives in freedom whatever the world chooses to do to his surroundings.
When your liberty has been bought by a battle already won,then you can be hassled by the invaders of this world but you won't be a P.O.W.
You'll maintain a freedom even under the worst circumstances that will incite envy in all those ready to lock themselves in Hell's prison.
Maybe this generation will have less fear because they have stayed "in training" all along.
Their God knew the challenges they would face and equipped them accordingly.

People can try writing this generation off as soft and ignorant,settling for low expectations and having only second-hand legalism instead of first hand faith.
But God has nurtured them so they grow like young plants,bearing fruit long before anyone expects to see it.
In these last days,God's children will grow like kudzu-and the more crap the enemy throws at them,the more they will flourish.
They will have that victory,in part,because of the work done by their elders and the examples they have set.
Don't think they lack discipline.
God does not sire bastards then ignore His responsibility to them.
He supports his get and provides them with the counsel and discipline they need.
Trust Him to give them knowledge and discretion when they need it most.
The enemy can underestimate today's people all he wants.

If we were being invaded by Aliens from outer space we would stand shoulder to shoulder with every country and religion in the world to defeat the alien attack, but if we go up against Russia, Germany, Japan, Iran, or _ _ _, we are gungho for the Good Old USA. Nothing else matters except we will win the war. No other country has a chance against us, or so we think.
Terrorism is a different story. There is not any protection against terrorism. It can happen at any time and anywhere, so how do you prevent it? We CAN"T! We are wasting lives in Irag and doing nothing to stop terrorism. Our troops are being killed by Terrorists and there apparently isn't anything they can do to stop it. Isn't that what I just said?
The US wants to keep our troops over there because the US is shuting down a lot of our military bases and converting them over to concentration camps. Concentration camps were used to house foreigners during a war time. That won't be the case when they are used this time. There will be a One World Order; One World Government, a One world Judicial System and One World Religion. SO who will go into the Concentration Camps?? You guessed it! Anyone who stands up for their Rights and/or Religion and doesn't bow down to the Beast or its image! There will be a lot of different religions in these camps and probably won't be seperated by religion. We will all have to get along until???
When it comes to religion, we are born into a family and our religion is usually already chosen for us. We do have a right to change our minds and go with any religion or in most cases denomination that we want to. We are brought up to believe in certain things and that is just the way it is. You wouldn't give up your religion to worship another god, so you can't expect anyone else to unless some higher force intervenes and sends them to you. Even if they don't believe in any other god. They have to be sent to you from higher up before you can reach them.
AND Now... with the Anti-christ and the False Religion at the door... who is going to change anytime soon to a religion they know nothing about? The One World Religion will be an entirely NEW Religion that isn't being taught on the earth today because every one will have to accept it or be imprisoned or killed. Anyone caught with a Bible of any kind will be thrown in a concentration camp and anyone caught praying in a prayer group would be shot on the spot. It's coming just before Christ returns.

Souls will be won because people will know of God's existence,His nature and His desires for us as completely as they will know the new rulers' unalloyed evil.
Much has been made of how terrible this time will be but it will also be a period when those who follow God will have a clearer vision of Him and stronger access to Him than at any other time.
The concentration camps will concentrate the power and awareness of those within them.
They will be the crucibles that will burn away our weaknesses and increase the potency of our spirits.
The very flames and hammering meant to destroy us will temper us into a weapon that is sharp and unbreakable.
All our foe will have accomplished is the end of people becoming lost by making no choice at all.
Let the bad guys turn up the heat.

Actually when it is printed as a prediction in the Holy Bible I find it very easy to believe. Just like everything else predicted and explained in the Bible.

The funny thing is, 100 years after Christ, they said the same thing, then again in 800 AD, then 1300 AD, 1500AD, 1655AD, 1770AD, 1882AD, 1910AD, 1944, 1955, 1965, 2000, 2012... When are these predications going to stop? Why can't we follow what Jesus stated instead of continually pursuing "futures days". Is that what God has stated he doesn't want to happen?
Christ said that we would know the signs , and the signs are all around for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

I believed it should have taken place before the year 6000 from the date of creation. The closest I can figure it, we are in the year 6134 give or take a few years depending on how accurate the B.C. and A.D. date lines are. But, you can be sure that Christ is returning before the 7 year reign of the Beast is up. In fact I believe it will be 3 1/2 years shorter.
Or the Beast will reign for only 3 1/2 years instead of 7 years when Christ returns. Watch for the beast then add 3 1/2 years. The day and the hour no one knows.
There are many anti-christ in the world today just like Jesus said back then. There have always been anti-christs and there always will be until Christ returns.
The Anti-christ we are talking about is the man who has the answers to all the worlds' problems. Then the false prophet and the beast will show up shortly afterwards. This could happen at any time now. I keep my eyes open and watch everything. Don't want to scare anyone but make you ware that it could all come in play soon. Don't fool yourself into thinking it isn't going to happen.
As smart as you are you can't sit there and say nothing is going to happen anytime soon. Jesus said when His people see the abomination of desolation they are to head for the mountains. We haven't seen the abomination of desolation yet but it's close by.
When Christ returns and reigns with his people in the first Resurrection for a thousand years, I believe this is the 7th 1,000 years or the 7th day that Christ will reign with His people on the sabath day. That is my theory anyway, but there are no acurate years B.C. and A.D. that can be proven, so no accurate date can be established for the arrival of the anti-christ, the false prophet nor the beast..
When I was in the armed service I was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC in the 82 Airborne. Now Ft. Bragg is training troops for urban warfare. That is training our own people to turn on American Citizens and go into subdivisions and break into private homes to illegally search and seize people and property in violation of the U.S. Constitution. Why would we want unconstitutional Military Martial Law in our states? We don't but that is the only way the Government will get our arms and imprison us for whatever they want too.
The enemy tries to set up problems with "solutions" that serve his purposes.
He likes to win either way.
Right now,he's sort of like the guys who advertise in the backs of magazines.
(He'll hack your computer,break into your home,invade your privacy AND sell you the security arrangements to prevent it.)
The measures used today to thwart terrorists and other criminals could be used against the rest of us tomorrow.
But,God is just as able to play that game-only better.
God is the only source of creation so the best our foes can do is commandeer good things and corrupt them.
God still has His ownership and purposes for those same institutions and technology.
He is not being idle while the demons take over.
God's forces will be stronger once the gloves come off and there are open hostilities.
Our greatest danger will come from what precedes that revelation.
We have more to fear from the subtle attacks that undermine our strengths and instill in us complacency or insecurity.
As long as we are informed,active and morally centered,we are a threat to our enemy.
We are a militia ready to go forward with God's infinite resources.
If we become cowards,slackers or Satan's dupes,then we have little to offer God and can do much to sabotage ourselves.
We can become soft and ignorant,we can lose the skills we need to survive,we can see potential allies as adversaries and potential tools as threats.
We can put our own desires ahead of God's.
All of these factors will aid the other side without alarming the unwary among us.
Expect there to be an escalation in whatever might distract us from God and chip away at our physical,mental and spiritual fitness.
The preparation time is what we should be concerned about,not the rough and scary bits.
When the totalitarian regime starts,the devout Muslims will wonder why Christians and Jews are being more harshly treated than their dhimmi laws prescribed.
(Remember,non-Islamic People of the Book tended to fare better under the followers of Mohammed than "infidels" and "heretics" in Europe and America did under alleged followers of Christ.)
A lot of "counter-culture" groups will be countering the new evils instead of the old virtues.
(We'll be very surprised to see who become our friends and not just Satan's enemies.)
What should we do while we wait (other than become paranoid)?
Let's try stockpiling weapons of mass construction.
Let's get grounded in the Word,build strong families and communities,acquire all the knowledge and skills we can and treat sin as a pandemic.
By treating crime,violence,etc. as we would cholera or smallpox,we can attempt to look for its causes,treat its carriers and increase the health of its potential victims so they'll have more resistance to the disease.
Doing a bit every day to enhance ourselves and the world we live in will make us better equipped for the last days and all that "being the change we want to see in the world" won't hurt if the Lord takes His time coming.

um, sorry but none of your insight is mentioned in the Bible, think maybe you watch too much TV. Don't think there are demon dopplegangers out there acting as ghosts to relieve people of heartache and misery. I think you are thinking WAY outside of the realm of what Gods intentions are.

Perhaps there are benign entities or purely natural forces behind some of the alleged supernatural phenomena.
I'd still bet that if there were a way of using ghosts,angels,ET's or anyone to deceive,manipulate or otherwise harm innocents that the enemy would use it.
When in doubt,look carefully at your sources.
The ones relaying messages might not be knowingly trying to dispense infernal sound-bites.
They might be sincere victims of a plot to release disinformation.
In secular or spiritual realms,no legitimate party is going to find fault with people protecting themselves and investigating the credibility of folks before they buy into their attractive claims.

The enemy does just that. Redcatoo is proof of what I am saying. Redcatoo would rather find another religion than to think satan is behind the paranormal experiences. These spirits ARE her Father and Sister in her mind and is turned off and refuses to believe what the Bible says about death and evil spirits.
Satan uses his angels to play on the weaknesses of heartbroken victims. Jesus said satan against himself will not stand.
When the churches start teaching the truth about death and life after death or even about the evil spirits, and how satan is the one who comes after and takes the lives of the people, satan couldn't win any souls. The truth would make the people free from satan.
I have watched several pyschic shows on TV and get very touched by them and want to believe them myself but I have read the truth and can't believe they are the loved ones coming back. It is a very good ploy by satan and his angels, but it doesn't work on me!
I've watched the "pet psychics" and wondered why you don't get more of those "kids say the darndest things" moments.
I've yet to hear Jonathan Edwards (the psychic or the preacher) get on the air and tell a spirit who's gone on that,no,he is NOT going to relay that Mama's missing jewelry is now adorning Daddy's girlfriend (in Mama's exact,very bleepable words).
(It seems to me a real "seer" would be calling *me* telling me that she'll bill the Visa card I'll get in 2012 for the info she's got for me today.)
As touching as some of the encounters can be,most are more blah than blessed or blasphemous.
When asked if I read my horoscope,I've admitted that I've read OLD ones to find out how I fared the year before.
None,(not even the personalized ones) rang true in anything but the most generic way.

He who holds my past,present and future is still writing my story.
Free will is still influencing the details filling in the outlines.
Only the enemy has it all being dead and static.
With God,time is still fluid enough to take the shape of whatever He uses to contain it.
Satan can't give us what he doesn't know and he doesn't know our destiny.
(How can he give us hints about next Tuesday when we could be taken from this world this Friday?)
Messages that aren't delusion,deception or plain show business will conform to what God says of Himself.
They will be true,unambiguous and helpful.
If words from outside the natural seem born of hype instead of Heaven,ask who would have reason to give us falsehoods.
Ask who would offer the fluffy or frightening instead of clear,practical and affirmative information.
God's words are seldom about what we want to hear.
They are about what we NEED to hear.
They won't be placating,discouraging or distracting.
They will be about giving us what we need to fulfill our tasks while we're here.
So,do we look to the dead or people who attempt to predict the future-or do we look to the Giver of Life who CREATES our future?

I have heard of cases where someone kills another because the devil told them to. If that is true, why didn't the devil protect that person? Satan gets people to do unGodly things then turns them in to the authorities.

HHHMMM, sounds alot like our current and soon-to-be-leaving president.. Except he said "God" told him to start a war based upon nothing but lies. Who is the enemy that comes to "kill, steal, and destroy?" <--- Satan.
So, tell me, how does he and half of this country really believe God told him to conjure up lies upon lies upon lies upon lies to get everything he wanted. If GOD told him to do that, don't you think the "war on terrorism" would be going much more smoothly? I was saying people who kill their children because they heard voices or because the devil told them to put them in the microwave are using satan as the excuse, yet satan won't protect them as his new follower.

I don't believe God told anyone to kill innocent people to make it look like they were after terrorists. I have always said you can not protect yourself from a terrorist attack unless they tell you where and when.
Our Home Land Security is taking money from the American people to protect us, yet the head man comes on the TV and tells us to buy Plastic wrap and duck tape. That my friends is Home Land Security and what they can do for us.

You need to capitalize the "C" in citizen or you are a federal US citizen who doesn't have Full Constitutional rights, only limited constitutional rights.
We are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights.
Governments can ignore God's desires for us as easily as Satan.
We can be allowed or denied privileges by Man because of our affiliations but our rights remain the same.

As constituents of the Sovereignty of this country we CAN NOT say that the other U.S. citizens have NO Constitutional rights. They do, but they are limited to the 14th amendment rights which are civil rights and equal protection of the law and other amendment rights like voting and victim rights, etc., but these are Privileges which can be taken away by the giver (U.S. Gov) at anytime.

This business about getting permission to emigrate to America,adopting the local language and culture,respecting the people already there and not putting an excessive drain on the country's resources...
